Samantha is a foodie mom to 3 young daughters. She runs a food blog called My Kitchen Love (.com) where she loves creating easy, flavourful, family-friendly recipes and taking gorgeous pictures of those recipes. While not in the kitchen, behind the camera, or computer, you can usually find her chasing her 3 girls in the North Vancouver mountains, down the ski hill, or on a soccer field. She loves to have fun with her family and friends, but equally enjoys cozying up with a book, a puzzle or some knitting. For Samantha, it’s always a good day when food, family, and friends intersect.

Are you looking for the perfect spring brunch recipe? 🌷We are sharing the perfect spring starter from @house_of_kerrs

@house_of_kerrs has been trying out some new Spring-y brunch recipes bringing you these #guacaholic approved Avocado Bites to try this weekend. So simple, so delicioso 👌 *SAVE THIS by tapping on that little flag in bottom right of photo*

🍽Serves 4-6 ppl...sharing optional ;) 🍽 You'll need: - 3 ripe avocados 🥑 - half of a lime 🍈 - 1 clove garlic (minced) - feta in brine (crumbled) - we used a reduced fat version to lighten it up - a few shakes of sea salt & black pepper (to taste) - 1 loaf of rustic Italian bread (sliced into 6 3/4 inch pieces) - 6 - 8 grape tomatoes, sliced into halves or quarters - balsamic vinegar glaze (there fave is from @PresChoice)

Prep: - scoop out avocado from skins and put into a bowl - mince garlic & add to avocado
- add a dash of sea salt & black pepper (to taste) - squeeze juice from half of a lime - use a fork and smush avocado + ingredient mix until desired texture achieved
- toast bread to desired level (*tastes best near well done, not burnt*) - scoop avocado mix onto each piece of bread and smooth out with spoon - crumble feta on top (*to taste*)

- add chopped tomato on top - drizzle with balsamic glaze (*to taste*) That's it! 10 min prep! Serve for your Spring brunch/lunch occasions (cut toasts in half for appie portions!).
