May the 4th Be With You: Family Night

Join us for our first Family Night and enjoy the Space Centre after hours at this galaxy far, far away celebration “May the 4th Be With You”. Parents and kids are encouraged to come dressed as your favorite Rebel or Empire character. Enjoy a round of droid trivia, visit distant worlds beyond your imagination and make your own light saber. Vancouver’s 501st Legion Outer Rim Garrison will also be stopping by to hang out and take pictures.

26th Annual Fingerling Festival with Bobs & LoLo!
Saturday, May 5th, 11 am – 1 pm, Port Moody Recreation Complex, 300 Ioco Road, Port Moody
This iconic environmental festival, the largest of its kind in the Lower Mainland, provides an opportunity for children to help release thousands of young chum salmon into Noons Creek to help these fish begin their four-year journey at sea, and to visit the hatchery with its fish-rearing pond and restored wetland. The ever popular Bobs & Lolo will be back again this year to give performances at 11:30 am and 1:00 pm in the arena.
Cloudscape Comics – Free Comic Book Day

Did you know the first Saturday of May is Free Comic Book Day?
