Watch an outdoor movie, or two, take a bicycle tour around the farms of Agassiz, or recycle small appliances at Trout Lake. Learn about creatures of the not-so-deep, sniff some lavender, or rock out at Surrey’s Fusion Festival. Agassiz Farms Cycle Tour

The Agassiz Farms Cycle tour takes you through the heart of Agassiz farm country along picturesque country roads. This July 22nd celebrating its’ 11th year. Tourism Harrison, Prospera Credit Union and the farmers are excited to welcome you to another year exploring the countryside and meeting the local farmers. The Agassiz Farms Cycle Tour is a leisurely self-guided cycle tour around a 30 km flat route visiting farms and meeting farmers. Be sure to register in advance for this awesome family-friendly event.

These process-based explorations invite families to experiment together through observing, touching, drawing, moving, assembling and listening to ignite their creative learning. Ages 12 and under. Cinema Under the Stars – Honey I Shrunk the Kids

Join us for ‘a movie under the stars on the giant screen in the new Fresh Family Fun field. The movie is included for free with your admission to the field where kids and parents can play together. Enjoy giant jumping pillows, tractor peddle races, games, volleyball and more. $5.00 for children, $2.50 for adults, $12.00 for a family of 4. Gates open at 6 pm allowing lots of play time before the movie begins when the skies get dark. It is summer, so be prepared for a late start (perhaps 9:15 pm) Please do not bring outside food or beverages – the farm is open and has delicious options for everyone including popcorn and drinks. We suggest lawn chairs and warm blankets.
Royal City Show & Shine
