Scheduling your child’s extracurricular activities is, even at the best of times, a bit like navigating a land mine. If you do too little the guilt sets in that they’re being ‘left behind’; if you do too much you start to worry about how your hyper-parenting might create frenetic, anxious children. Add in the stresses of wait lists, save my spots, and the pressures of September – with everyone getting used to a new school year – and you have high meltdown potential.

There comes a time when your child no longer needs pop culture characters on their big kid underwear to lure them to the bathroom. So you start to look for alternatives. Which, if you’re parent to a boy-child, leads to the age old question, “Boxers or briefs?” Or, as their dads have discovered before them, perhaps the answer is boxer briefs. So on behalf of mums of boys everywhere (well, at least in the yoyomama-sphere) we thought we’d run a little pilot project.

One of pregnancy’s many challenges is dressing in a style that isn’t evocative of a Rose Bowl float. Comfortable doesn’t have to be unattractive, but a lot of maternity wear is (sadly) pretty unsightly. Thank goodness we found the Baby On Board Apparel (BOBA) three-way legging!

With the holidays approaching (let the parties and eating begin!) many of us will be looking for ways to let our pants out versus trying to keep them up. But for those parents with a “skinny minny” to keep clothed, stopping pants from drooping down on hips and dragging around ankles can be a constant battle. And the clothespin on the back of the pants? Not the best look. Thankfully, Clippopotamus has a clip for that.

Not your kids of course…the other stuff. In fact we find it surprising that our stroller or diaper bag haven’t been nicked at least once while we were frolicking on the swings with our offspring. Which is why we were reassured to discover the Buggyguard B-Hook.
