Happy Halloween! We’ve got fun, family-friendly events and activities for Halloween day and night including costume parades, tons of trick-or-treating opportunities, and fireworks too! If you don’t feel like sending the kids out in the neighbourhood, or if it’s raining cats and dogs, check out some of these great trick-or-treating events – lots take place indoors. Trick-or-Treat in Downtown Abbotsford

Halloween on the Heights
Tuesday, October 31st, 3:30 pm – 5:30 pm, Burnaby Heights, Hastings Street between Boundary Road and Gamma Avenue & 6 pm – 9 pm, Burnaby Central Railway, Confederation Park, 250 Willingdon Avenue, Burnaby
Halloween belongs in the neighbourhood, and nowhere is this more true than on the Heights. On the Heights, Halloween is the true folkloric event that it’s meant to be – safe, fun and a celebration of a good spooking! We invite you and your family to dress up and trick-or-treat with our merchants for Halloween on the Heights on October 31. From 3:30 to 5:30 p.m., take your children to visit participating neighbourhood merchants along Hastings Street to receive some yummy treats. All participating merchants will display pumpkin decals on their window to show they are giving out treats. Make sure to stop by the Burnaby Central Railway at Confederation Park for the Annual Spooky (but not too spooky) Halloween Trains in the Dark. Admission is $3.50 and costumes for both parents and children are strongly encouraged. The train will be running from approximately 6 to 9 p.m. with free hot chocolate and cookies.
Halloween Trick or Treat Parade

Willowbrook Shopping Centre’s Trick or Treat Event takes place from 5:00pm to 6:00pm on October 31, 2017. Join us for this popular and lively Halloween event! Entry is by donation and includes a ‘trick or treat’ bag and goodies*. Please enter at the following Willowbrook entrances: Sport Chek, Swimco, Tim Hortons, and Starbucks to collect your goodie bag and treats. Proceeds from the event will go to the Langley School District Foundation to support innovative and essential school programs for Langley students. Greeting stations open at 4:30pm.
Trick-or-treat in Steveston
Monday, October 31st, 3 pm – 5 pm, Steveston Village, Richmond
This extremely popular event grows larger every year! Trick or treaters take to the streets of Steveston in the daylight and visit participating businesses offering treats. The cute factor is high as anything from a walking gumball machine to Little Bo Peep may cross your path! Neighbourhood kids are invited to bring their treat bag and have some non-scary fun. This event takes place rain or shine!
Trick-or-Treating at Aberdeen Centre
Tuesday, October 31st, 3 pm – 5 pm, Aberdeen Centre, 4151 Hazelbridge Way, Richmond
Walk around the mall and visit participating stores for Halloween treats.
Minoru Halloween Fireworks Festival
Tuesday, October 31st, 6:30 pm – 8:45 pm, Minoru Park, 7191 Granville Avenue, Richmond
Don’t miss the live music, dance demonstrations, a magician, roving entertainers, children’s activities, an inflatable corn maze, trick-or-treating, fire juggling and a spectacular fireworks finale to celebrate this spooky holiday. Additional parking available at Richmond Centre’s south parkade beside City Hall. This event is FREE for all ages.
Hamilton Halloween Fireworks Show

Halloween Trick or Treat at Central City
Tuesday, October 31st, 4 pm – 6 pm, Central City, 2153 Central City, 10153 King George Boulevard, Surrey
Families are invited to come to Central City from 4pm to 6pm on October 31 for a spooktacular time at the centre’s free Halloween Fun Event! Kids ages 12 and under dressed in costume can take part in centre-wide trick-or-treating at participating stores (while limited treats last). Plus, families can enjoy Halloween craft activities, face-painting, balloon artists, entertainment, story-time, and more (near Winners).
Halloween in Yaletown

The Yaletown Business Improvement Association, in partnership with the Roundhouse, is organizing the 15th Annual Trick-or-Treat Route through Yaletown! Trick or Treat at participating Yaletown businesses, then come back to the Roundhouse for the Annual Halloween Carnival. Halloween at Wesbrook Village 2017

Are you ready for a spooktacular Halloween celebration at Wesbrook Village? We have tons of activities leading up to Halloween. Back again this year is the frighteningly famous Wesbrook Village Trick-or-Treating on October 31, 2017 from 4:00pm-6:00pm.
