Burnaby

Haunted Village
Friday, October 27th – Sunday, October 29th, 6 pm – 9 pm, Burnaby Village Museum, 6501 Deer Lake Avenue, Burnaby, Cost: adults $14, kids 2 – 12 $9
Come in your costume and discover the village decked in spooky fashion. Strange things and ghosts of the past lurk in the shadows. Trick-or-treat through the village, and take a spin in the carousel.

Halloween Howler
Saturday, October 28th, 10 am – 12 pm, Cameron Recreation Complex, 9523 Cameron Street, Burnaby, Cost: Free
Halloween activities include: face painting, guess the pumpkin’s weight, preschool halloween crafts, physical movement and more! Free event, but canned goods donations are appreciated. Event is suitable for those 9 years and under. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Bonsor’s Big Boo!
Saturday, October 28th, 6 pm – 8:30 pm, Bonsor Recreation Complex, 6550 Bonsor Avenue, Burnaby, Cost: $1
Make your way through the haunted house, then have fun with ghoulish games and creepy crafts. Parent participation required.

Langley

Boo at the Zoo
October 20th – 31st, , 10 am – 4 pm, Greater Vancouver Zoo, 5048 – 264th Street, Langley
Looking for some Spook-tacular Fun well come join us for our BOO AT THE ZOO celebration. Haunted Tunnel: Open from 10AM – 1PM on the Saturdays and Sundays of October 21st and 22nd and October 28th and 29th and Halloween day Oct 31st. Pumpkin Decorating: Open at the info booth between 10AM-11:30AM from October 23rd – 27th. The decorated pumpkins will be used for the Great Pumpkin Smash! So don’t forget to come and watch! Night Walking Safari: October 20-22 and October 27-29 – 5:50pm tour and 7pm tour This is a merry not scary event.

Kids Fort Langley Halloween
Sunday, October 29th, 12 pm – 5 pm, Fort Langley National Historic Site, 23433 Mavis Avenue, Fort Langley
Trick-or-treat at Fort Langley National Historic Site! Gather around the bonfire for ghost stories, explore the Spooky Servants Quarters and get an airbrush tattoo. If you dare, give yourselves goose bumps meeting some of “Mike’s Critters” creepy companions. Fun and not too scary, this event is great for families. Wear your costumes for great photos.

Halloween Spooktacular at Laughing Stock Ranch
Friday, October 27th – Sunday, October 29th, Laughing Stock Ranch, 24555 32nd Avenue, Langley, Cost: kids $10, adults free
Come join us for some Halloween fun at the ranch! We have lots of activities for the kids to do all day, no age limit! Proceeds go to the LSR Bursary that has been able to help the Starfish Backpack program, Semiahmoo House Society and numerous churches and schools in the Fraser Valley!

North Vancouver

LVPPP Pumpkin Patch
Saturday, October 14th, 11 am, Lynn Valley Parent Participation Preschool, 3220 Mountain Highway, North Vancouver
Wear your costumes and come spend a fun day at the pumpkin patch. Visit the haunted house, get your face painted, decorate a Halloween cookie, take a photo at the photo booth, and try out spooky science activities. Take home a pumpkin and a bag of treats.

The Great Pumpkin Patch
Saturday, October 14th, 11 am – 3 pm, Lynn Valley Elementary School, 3207 Institute Road, North Vancouver
Come on over in your country finest, and join the fun at the pumpkin patch. Join three-legged races, pie eating contests, potato sack races, and a game of good ol’ tug-of-war! Take home treats from the cake walk, or pick something up from the bake sale.

Haunted Harvest Fair
Sunday, October 15th, 11 am – 2 pm, Sutherland Secondary School, 1860 Sutherland Avenue, North Vancouver
Sutherland Family of Schools is pleased to be hosting it’s second community Haunted Harvest Fair on October 15th, 11am-2pm at Sutherland High School. This community event will include fun for all ages! Haunted Houses (one tailored to older kids, one to the younger kids), bouncy castles, face painting, live music, delicious treats and a craft fair. The event will run rain or shine, making use of the interior of Sutherland Secondary. The event is free, with low-cost events and treats. This event is being organized by the Sutherland Family of Schools: Sutherland Secondary, Ridgeway Elementary, Eastview Elementary, Queensbury Elementary and Brooksbank Elementary.

Pumpkin Patch

Dress your kids up in their favourite costumes and bring them to this annual family event. Come and jump around on our bouncy equipment, play some exhowlarating games and do some Halloween crafts. Please pre-register.

Halloween Carnival at Roundhouse 
Monday, October 31st, 4:30 pm – 7:30 pm, Roundhouse Community Centre, 181 Roundhouse Mews, Vancouver, Cost: $6
Dress up in your scariest costume and participate in ghoulish games and creepy crafts! Come and explore our “Ghoulish Graveyard” full of spooky surprises, fun activities and maybe some candy too. Caregiver participation is required. Drop-ins are welcome only if space is available. This event sells out each year.
