Welcome to yoyomama’s weekend guide! Your go-to list of family friendly fun things to do with kids in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland. It’s also easy to get these event listings in our handy new app, OnTheGoKids, which takes our weekend guide and makes it mobile!

It’s a wonderful weekend full of neighbourhood festivals! Check out West End Fest, Kerrisdale Days, or Wesbrook Village Festival in Vancouver; Parkgate Family Day in North Van; or Fleetwood Festival in Surrey. Take a day trip to Hope Brigade Days for some pioneer time fun, or to Langley Cruise-In to check out some shiny rides. Learn circus skills, meet bugs and BC Lions, plus learn to bake, or shop for handmade goodies. You can also get your fill of salmon at the Coho Festival, or join Luminary Festival in Delta for a delightful time.
