The forecast calls for rain this weekend, but those of us who live in the lower mainland don’t let that stop us from getting out and enjoying some family fun. There are nature walks at the Hastings Park Sanctuary and Lynn Canyon; storytime at Vancouver Holocaust Education Centre; and it’s family movie night at the Lynn Valley Main Library. Further afield you can enjoy Will Stroet, and kids can skate away their Pro D Day. It’s also the biggest weekend of the year for craft fairs, and we’ve just added dozens more to our comprehensive list of holiday craft fairs and markets. There’s lots of fun to be found on our holiday celebrations list too, and if you’re looking for crafty fun, check out all the holiday activities we’ve found. It’s also the kick-off weekend for many of the ongoing holiday events of the year. All in all, it’s shaping up to be a great weekend!
