Ah, summer. The time of year when biting into a fresh peach or slicing juicy field tomatoes makes us grateful for homegrown fruit and produce. In the GTA we’re lucky to have an abundance of Farmers’ Markets, which are typically open until October and offer fresh and tasty treats grown nearby. Visiting a market is a great way to spend a few hours with the kiddos, and there’s nothing like knowing the food on your plate was grown locally, sustainably, and recently!
