GapKids and Bunchland.com have teamed up to throw a free in-store rock festival for you and your kids this Saturday, May 7th from 1 – 4 PM at the Park Royal GapKids. It’s called Kindie Rocks Gap Kids!  What’s kindie? Simple. Kindie is indie rock music for kids.

Little hipsters at the party will rock out to a live kindie band, make rock-inspired wearables like pins and temporary tattoos and get their pictures printed on all-access rock show passes.  There’ll also be goodies/snacks to nosh on, VIP mystery shopping with savings from 20 – 40% off and a limited edition Kindie Rocks GapKids! tote with purchase.

Who’s headlining? The Seattle powerpop band The Board of Education. One of the hottest acts in the US kindie scene, they’re like The Electric Company meets Ben Folds Five. No purple dinosaur music for this crowd.
