Moving sucks. Period. No matter how you slice it, packing, purging, organizing, moving, and unpacking is sheer agony. Even more so when you factor tots into the picture. So anything to make the process less painful is genius in our books … or box, like the clever FrogBox.
FrogBox understands moving is one of life’s most stressful events. And they make it easier with a convenient, cost effective and eco-friendly alternative to cardboard boxes, which can be hard to find and limited to one-time use. Not to mention, cardboard and paper waste account for up to 26% of landfill material.
The FrogBox is a plastic moving box that can be used hundreds of times. It’s roomy and sturdy enough to hold just about anything, and boasts a 70-litre capacity (think contents of a fridge, or a couple of drawers in a standard wardrobe). The boxes are weather-resistant, easily stackable (so moving companies love them), and look like LEGO, which appeals to our inner child. FrogBox also delivers and picks up the boxes – so one less thing for you to do.
We tested the FrogBox during a recent move. Our boxes were delivered right to our doorstep, and the helpful delivery man gave us great packing tips and suggestions. We were also reassured the FrogBox team was there to help with any questions or concerns. We had our FrogBoxes for three weeks, which was more than enough time to pack and move. And the deadline for box pick-up forced us to unpack, so we didn’t have the luxury of hiding that last box of stuff for another day – thankfully.
The cost of renting FrogBoxes is comparable to buying cardboard ones, but the main thing you get from using FrogBoxes is peace of mind. We loved doing our part to help the planet (1% of FrogBox gross revenues goes to frog habitat restoration), and getting back some sanity during the moving madness. Which really, is priceless.

I used Frogbox in February and they were great. The sturdy boxes meant I didn’t have to worry about any of the breakables, and the deadline of returning the boxes prompted me to unpack much sooner than I might have.
