My lady friends and I would all visit the spa (how decadent) and then hopefully take in a show in the theatre…and then, sleep in with no kids to wake us!!!! (absolute glory)
Myself and my 3 closest frineds are pregnant, we are all due in teh summer months, so having an amazing break before the due dates would be glorious. We would for sure hit the spa and relax relax relax and be pampered.
How exciting! Me and my besties would love to enjoy an evening of fun and laughs, check out the lounge for entertainment, do a little gambling, maybe a foot massage in the spa and have fun all night and wake up late with no kids to wake us in the morning, and have breaky together and laugh about the fun we had the night before!! Hope we win..eeee!!
My sisters and I will enjoy the Spa with dinner after. Some of us like the Slots, so we will definitely spend some time there!! Watch a show, then head to the wonderful room for hours of Sister Chat – more sister bonding!! I’m sure we will be famished by breakfast time – the buffet will be greatly appreciated, as much as the rest of this well-deserved night out!!
I really like Tramonto restaurant so would like to eat there. And then have some fun in the casino!!
My friends and I would most definitely hit the spa before enjoying a fabulous dining experience. Then on to the slots and perhaps even a show – River Rock always has cool acts in town. To top it all off, we’d sleep in and have a luxurious breakfast the next morning, no whining, no crying! (expect maybe about our hangover?)
We would definitely spend it at the spa!!
Several of my girlfriends and I have just started a regular poker night – so we would play cards, go to the spa, have a fabulous meal and then have a great night sleep with out our kids to wake us up.
My girlfriends and I will eat, drink, relax, play, dance, see a show and do the above all again in no particular order.
we’d do it all…spa, drinks, dinner, dancing at lulu’s lounge…then we’d sleep in and hit the spa again!
I think the best would be to enjoy services at the spa and relax in the jacuzzi…wine and chat time!

Drink martini’s with my girlfriends…visit the spa & sleep IN. Bliss.
Where to begin. We all have babies under 10 months at home, and have begun to develop permanent luggage under the eyes. We would hit the spa for sure, enjoy way too many drinks, eat our faces off, do a bit of gambling, take a swim–essentially utilize all the resort has to offer. It would be like parents gone wild. The best part would be no night wakings or feedings, and no 5am wake ups. Maybe even better than that would be a chance to reconnect with the gals and talk about something other than our kids!
We would definitely do the spa, eat, chill and hang out, and then sleep in!
Pick me! Pick me! I dream of eating a meal while it’s hot… and not having to cut up anyone else’s meal other than my own. Though, I would miss the kids jumping into bed with me in the morning…
Probably talk/ brag way too much about our loved little ones while enjoying dinner. Thinking how much fun it would be to be floating in the pool with our energetic toddlers and fearless babies. Wondering what toys to get them when we win the grand prize in the casino. Can not help thinking whether they are sleeping well at night and hoping that they will have just as nice a breakfast as we do. And in the meanwhile relax and enjoy the moment, and yes try to sleep in (if only that automatic instinct at 6.30am will allow us to do so…)
It’s like Vegas but with only a 30 minute commute – doesn’t get much better than that. My friends and I all have at least 2 or 3 children and would really appreciate the chance to relax among friends.
My girlfriend’s wedding is coming up, and being the Maid of Honour, I have to try to plan an exciting, and memorable, night for us ladies to celebrate her; this would do just that! We’d hit up the spa, maybe win, but more likely spend, some cash on the slots, and probably drink a little too much, which would be perfectly OK because we’d just have to walk up to our suite at the end up the night!

Oh, how much fun would this be. The last time I was at the River Rock was for a stagette and I was VERY pregnant so didn’t get to take part in all of the festivities (except I made a good dent on the buffet) … this time around, me and my besties would enjoy the spa, some gambling and a meal where we don’t have to cut up everyone’s food into tiny little pieces.

There are not very many weekends that one can get away with the girls. This is the perfect opportunity to enjoy a relaxing night pampering yourselves at the spa and then having great food and entertainment, all in one place! Can’t wait to get the girls together for this one.

Since the birth of my 16 months and then heading back to work has not left much time to do any pampering or catching up with friends. Life is so busy with an infant that given the chance to hang and catch up would be wonderful. Nothing like a spa day with friends, having some good food and drink then heading down to the casino floor for a little roulette, craps and slots. The best part would be to sleep in.
the question is, would i actually be able to sleep in past 6am? oooo, this sounds like a dream! my girlfriends (who i haven’t had a chance to see without children tugging at our sleeves in forever!) and i would love to spend some quality time together: pampering ourselves, indulging ourselves and maybe even losing some time to the slots.
Wow, a night out? I haven’t even had a day out since my baby was born. Would love to just relax all day at the spa & think of nothing.
Girls Night Out looks awesome!! I think I would mostly enjoy the relaxing… A nice sleep-in with no alarm or early-morning “Mamma’s”. Nice comfy king size beds… The pool and hot tub sound great, too. But of course we would have to to get all dolled-up and make a visit to the casino floor. I would have to try my luck at roulette – Go 17 and 20!!
My gal pals would come from the Yukon, Edmonton, Cranbrook, Prince George and Fernie to enjoy a weekend of pampering at the spa, relaxing with drinks at the casino, gabbing over dinner, sleeping in (oh my!) and enjoying room service breakfast! Oh to dream!!!
I would love to take my girl friends to go Absolute Spa first to relax and rewind. Then we will try one of the five nice restaurants in the resort. I tried their buffet before. They are very good.
During my first maternity leave almost five years ago, my prenatal class friends and I hung out several times per week. Now most of us have two kids and full time jobs, and rarely get a chance to connect. I’d love to treat everyone to a night at River Rock, and I’m betting we’d all kick it off with a NAP! We’d then shave our legs for the first time in eons, and hit the tropical pool, followed by the spa. We’d take advantage of the rare chance to get a bit glammed up and indulge in some fine dining and a few beverages. Some slots and/or blackjack would be a blast, too. It’ sad to admit it, but the most satisfactory part would quite possibly be a night and morning of uninterrupted snooze time!
My girl friend is getting married, What an amazing way to spend the weekend with some spa time food and wonderful girl friends:) It definitely would be the time of our lives one to remember for sure!
Oh my gosh! I really didn’t know that River Rock had all this stuff going on! A little spa time, some dinner? Poker or blackjack balanced by drinks and music in Lulu’s Lounge? A swim and a show? Talking to my girlfriends, we found it difficult to imagine anything that doesn’t involve sippy cups and wipies – that’s how much we need some grownup girl time!!!!
Me and my 5 besties are all mammas now – Iknow,I can not believe we all grew up!! We NEED a chance to kick back and relax for 1 night sans kiddies, and just be ‘the girls’ again… this would be SO nice…
Wow! I can’t believe there’s such a decadent getaway so close to home! My friends and I would love the spa treatment and buffet. But I think the best part would be hanging out with my girlfriends….without the kids!! Ahhh, peace for a day!
oops… forgot to mention what we’d be doing… we’d be all girly in the suite, dress it up, and then hit (my personal fave) the casino. Would probably grab some ticks to one of the fabulous shows in the Red Robinson theatre… then hit the casino again. We’d be sure to hit the indoor pool in the am too!!!
The last time I was there was 4 years ago on my wedding night. Since then, some of my friends are married, some have babies and others are single. All in all, we need a great reason to reconnect and this seems like the perfect opportunity to enjoy a beautiful hotel – without a long commute! We would leave the babies at home with their dad’s and enjoy eating with no bibs and messy food, the spa for mani’s and pedi’s and massage, and the pool. The gambling would be too fun to pass up! Breakfast is my favourite meal, so am already drooling over that. Thanks for a great contest!
My girlfriends and i would make the most of this trip, we would check in, relax in the room for a bit, and then head to the spa for some pampering. Back in the suite, we would have a few appies , that we made, because that’s how we roll,nothing like your own good food and mixed drinks to get the night started . Eventually we would head downstairs, excited to check out the new Curve lounge. We would gamble, and we would make the dance floor at LuLu’s Lounge so hot, they wont know what hit them ! The only thing to make this night better would be a big win in the casino, and i say Let Luck Be a Lady , like Frank Sinatra says ! Icing on the cake would be a spectacular show , whether it be comedy or a concert. Good luck to all the ladies who enter !!!

I no that all of us girls would enjoy the relaxing spa, great food and wine but most of all a time away from the husbands and kids.
My best friends and I are all mothers of toddlers and babies… in other words, we haven’t slept in several years. I think we would gamble a bit, eat some fab food, have a massage, take pix with the girls with those feathered things on their heads & SLEEEEEP until we woke up…
And Im not sure we wouldn’t bring our husbands… they’re just as long-suffering and sleep-deprived as we are.

Why leave town when we have the River Rock in our own backyard? We would do everything – catch a show, enjoy some drinks, try our luck at gambling, feast on food at dinner and at brunch, get pampered at the spa, check out the fitness facility and tropical pool and did you say penthouse suite? Sweet! Never considered a girls weekend at River Rock before now (we were planning to do Tualip in the spring!)
Definitely some time at the slot tables, followed by a massage, followed by dinner and a glass of wine!
Hopefully the night would involved jumping up and down and up and down after winning big at the slots! I’d feel famous staying in a penthouse suite and definitely check out a show, hit up the spa and enjoy someone else doing the dishes after a nice relaxing morning brunch!

What a fun idea! I think we would hit the casino for some fun and then relax at the spa. However back in our rooms we would spend some serious time reconnecting from our hectic lives.
Are you kidding me??? This is my idea of heaven. I love my kid but an evening with my girls to just hang out and chat, that would be fabulous. A chance to be just a lady (not a mama) and get decked out, throw in a spa treatment, a lounge by the pool, a show and a great dinner. HEAVEN!

As a single parent of an amazing six-year-old girl, I would relish the self-care time provided by the Spa, with some incredible friends I know from our Parent Participation Preschool. We’d wine, dine, soak and slot to our heart’s content!

What a great way to spend time with your girlfriends & enjoy the night! My girlfriends and I(all of being moms, all needing a break!) would do the whole package! From a relaxing spa, food, casino!! It was a thought I had one day to do this but never having the time, but this would be an amazing experience for us if it did happen! One great mom’s night out for sure!

Since our days consist of eating schedules, napping schedules, cleaning schedules and “wife” schedules (which don’t get me wrong we LOVE to do!) it would be so nice to have a “spa” schedule, dinner “out” schedule, show schedule and poker schedule! Spa being the most important! Followed by the dinner out with wine! And it would be topped of without an alarm clock in the morning (radio or kids) Make our night River Rock! This would be such a fun thing to do to explore our own backyard! I’m so sick of people saying that Vancouver “isn’t fun”… fun is how you approach life not what someone delivers to your door. Me and my mama (and a few non-mama) friends would have a blast just enjoying each other’s company, chatting, gossiping, laughing. Sure the spa, dinner and a little risk taking (you know, gambling with the pennies you should be buying hair clips or stuffies with…) will aid in the fun, but just having time with my girls to “be” the other part of me (not Mum, not wife… just girlfriend) would be wonderful!

What a fantastic idea! I have never been to a casino- and i can’t think of a better introduction. My friends and i (all mums who could use a touch of pampering) would pamper ourselves at the spa and then laugh the night away at the tables! Hard to know if we’d take advantage of the night without kids by staying up too late or getting lots of sleep- wait- we could do BOTH!!!!

Wow – what not to do? Well I’ve got a group of girlfriends who all used to work together…. with marriages, pregnancies and some relocations, its so hard to get together. So I’d guess that we’d do a bit of everything – a trip to the spa for pedis so we could chat and catch up while being pampered, then go back to our room, drink the champagne and enjoy the penthouse while getting ready to hit the slots for a bit. After a few hours out, we’d head back to our suite for the ultimate sleepover, finishing up the champagne, playing cards and just generally catching up while relaxing in the bliss of our own company.
We would definitely do the spa, dinner at Tramonto and hang out with the girls! Sounds like the ‘get-away’ from our lives as busy Moms of young kids that we all need very much! We would love to do a Girls Getaway like this. Truth is, none of us can really afford to treat ourselves to something so fancy. I would love to win this getaway!

Yes, please! If I’m lucky enough to win Val, Joey, Sam, Felice, Vandhana & I will enjoy spa time, some wine tasting, a good night’s rest and, best of all, some girlfriend time.
Me & my girls will probably start with some SERIOUS pampering @ Absolute Spa, hopefully with wine…for a couple of hours, then we will most likely check out the shows @ the theatre follow by a nice dinner @ the Tramonto. Oh and the slot machines! If we get lucky, we might even be able to extend our little getaway without kids and husbands!! AND most importantly, sleeping in the next morning and breakfast in bed!!!!
I am the mum of a 6 (going on 16) year old boy and 10 month old identical twin girls…I am an EXTREMELY lucky woman as I have an amazing supportive family that helps me in every which way possible.
I would use the prize as a way, not only to enjoy the company of my family and best friends (yes, they are both to me!) without any interruptions, but also as a thank you to them for being there for me…Oh…and some sleep too :)
We woul definately check out the spa, the shows and the casino. We have a monthly girls day and we love to do fun stuff like this. We difinately make Girls night a priority.

Where to begin?! Probably with a nice glass of red wine in the room, then down to the spa for a mani/pedi, then for dinner at the buffet, then a try our luck at the slots! We’d definitely sleep in, then go for a massage and facial at the spa after our room-service breakfast. Sounds like a dream of a weekend to me!!!

I will definitely check in with Ladies first package! My bestfriend and I will surely enjoy this package including mani and pedi plus 90 minute massage! That would be heaven! My friends and I would be hitting the spa for some pampering. Then I think we would enjoy a nice meal, maybe go for a swim…do some gambling. I think we would have to have the full experience if I were to win!
I think that some pampering at the spa would be in order, maybe some swimming in the gorgeous pool. Eating out and getting caught up, since we all live in different towns and don’t get to see each other that often, followed by a relaxing sleep would round out what sounds like an amazing weekend!
Well, for sure the spa, that is a must!! Then some dinner and gambling…after this it’s a tough call: Party hard or get a solid night’s sleep while away from the kids.. both sound fabulous, hope I get the chance to make that tough decision!
WoW!!! This prize sounds soooo amazing. I love to play the slots and then I can play, spa and have a great time with my girlfriends!! The pool also looks so incredible (and waterslide).
What will we do? What WILL we do???
First off, of course we’ll buy tickets for Thunder from Down Under. I know, it’s kind of cheesy. But hey, it IS a girls vacation and scantily clad men should of course be top on the list of things to see!
Before that, we’ll head on down to the Party Pit where we may or may drink a bit too much, play some slots and then probably end up joining in the Go-Go dancing. If by this time we have not been kicked out, we will go for a late dinner at Tramonto. We will end the evening with some room service and that nice bottle of Henriot Champagne. I won’t remember much after that, and anticipate climbing into that super comfortable bed (I love the River Rock beds!) and falling asleep…
Next afternoon (because we won’t be getting out of bed before 11) we will have a swim and act like teenagers as we slide down the waterslide numourous times. We will then endulge in some pampering at Absolute Spa (sigh….that was amazing!) followed by a snack and people watching at Curve Lounge. We’ll end the day with some casino fun before heading back to Mom life. Of course, as when we arrived, we will leave by way of the River Rock’s fabulous limousine.

The possibilities are endless!!!! I’d start off lounging in my room then head straight to the Spa, then eat, then play some slots, then catch a show. Get some room service, watch movies and have a sleepover. Oh and SLEEP IN! Whoo hoo!

I’ve got to tell you; reading all the posts from the young sleepless moms on diaper duty 24/7 was a trip back in time for me! Been there done that! It doesn’t matter though, we still have the sleepless nights but now the worries are more grown up things, you know the ones! You’re always a mom even when your kids are on their own; the issues are just different!

We saw Tony Bennett at the River Rock and it was so amazing to see such a big name in such an intimate setting. I think we’d try for another great concert, and I’d attempt to teach the girls the secrets of BlackJack (maybe we’d win enough for another Girls Night Out). And, of course, you can’t put a value on a full night of uninterrupted sleep – this prize package is priceless!

My girlfriends and myself (all moms) would try to take advantage of as much as possible! The casino for sure, the buffet to keep us going, the spa would be a must. As much as we’d all like to lay in bed for a little bit, I’m sure we’d be having too much fun to sit still.
I love the River Rock Casino, have been a number of times, but have never spent the night. I can’t think of a better way to spend an evening with my gals. Thanks for the opportunity!
