Babies may be awfully cute, but they also ooze, smell and simply won’t pick up after themselves. Diapers are a necessary accessory for controlling some of that mess but whether you choose cloth, disposable or a hybrid, mastering the world of diapers can be a challenge. What do you choose? How many do you need? When will potty training begin? Well we can’t answer all those questions for you, but we can share a bit about something we know a lot about – cloth diapers.

After the explosion of events for last week’s Family Day, Toronto is quieter this weekend but there’s still plenty to do for families looking to escape the boredom of the house! Little ones will love taking their teddies to tea at the Casa Loma, young engineers will want to try their hand at the K’NEX bridge building event, and for those families who like planning ahead, the Summer Camp Expo will be a perfect stop this weekend.

A visit to the Rocky Mountain Flatbread Co. in Kits on pretty much any evening proves beyond a doubt it’s a family-friendly place to chow down on a pizza and healthier fare for families (with nary a chicken strip in sight). But did you know they now do breakfast and brunch from 9 am – 11:30 am daily?
