This contest is closed.  Congratulations to our winner Kat Davidson.

There are so many great movies out there in the theatres, but who has time to go see them?  Well yoyomama and Empire Theatres want you and someone you love to go to the movies! In this film inspired contest, you have the chance to win two packs of $60.00 worth of Empire Theatre coupons and gift cards…so you can keep one and give one away (prize value $120.00)

You could win the chance to Give & Get this Holiday with Empire Theatres!

Holiday shopping isn’t always as straightforward as we’d like it to be. Trying to find the perfect gift (that doesn’t break the bank) can be like Christopher Columbus’s conquest for a new land. Wouldn’t it be lovely if someone just stepped in and handed you something that everyone on your list wants? And even more, went so far as to
give you something in return?

Enter the Empire Theatres ‘Give & Get’ program. Each time you purchase $30 in Empire gift cards, you’ll get $30 in Empire coupons for free! How sweet is that? Whether it’s for your child’s homeroom teacher who loves Patrick Dempsey or your brother who can’t get enough of sci-fi action flicks this is the perfect gift. For them, and for you.

Enter now and you could win two holiday bundles valued at $60* each!  That’s one for you, and one to give as the perfect gift for the movie lover in your life.

*Approximate retail value $60 – refers to the $30 value in Empire Coupons, plus $30 Empire gift certificate. Offer expires on December 24th, 2010. Check empiretheatres.com for full program details.

So how can you get your name in the draw for this great prize? Let us know who you would give your second pack of Empire Theatre gift cards and coupons to and why.

It’s easy to comment on any of our contests, but you do it on yoyomama.ca not in our daily emails. All you need to do is add your comment at the bottom of the contest after the share and enjoy buttons. Please note: To be eligible for this contest you must use valid email address as that is how we’ll contact the winner.

  5. Brenda on December 8th, 2010 11:12 pm

Our dear friends Juan and Clara; for the last ten years they have worked extremely hard to make a life for themselves here in Canada, and they rarely get time to go out and have a ‘night off’. They truly deserve a chance to get out together and have a ‘date night’.

  6. donna chong on December 8th, 2010 11:24 pm

i would give them to my son, he has bought a house and has new baby on the way,so no money for fun…so yes i think he would enjoy

  7. Tanya on December 9th, 2010 12:30 am

The second pack would go to my husband. He has been working really hard at trying to start a business while also being a thoroughly fun and amazing dad to our two small boys. He LOVES watching movies and munching on popcorn, but we hardly ever have the time or the resources to do so now, especially with babysitting factored in. With the gift cards, maybe he’d be able to invite me on a much needed date night!

  8. Michelle on December 9th, 2010 3:49 am

My 2nd gift pack would go to my sister-in-law. With taking care of 3 kids, she deserves a little time away.

  9. Jennifer on December 9th, 2010 8:43 am

I would give them to my homestay student from Germany. She is studying english and says one of the best ways to learn is watching tv and going to movies. She learns jokes and sarcasim, which she says she doens’t learn in school, it more “real” english she says.

I would give it to my daughter and her husband, they try to go to the movies every Friday Night. A new Empire opened up down the street from them and with the holidays she can’t afford to even go. And I don’t have an empire close to me (my town doesn’t even have a theater!) so I cant even buy her any tickets. Great contest!
