Filed Under Stuff, Tips & Tricks | November 17, 2010
It’s time for our next installment of yoyo radio. And this week, in honour of his new CD Walk n’ Roll, which is about to drop, we asked children’s musician Will Stroet, to share a playlist of kid-friendly (but grown up) tunes with us. Oh and we’ve taken a sneak listen to his new tunes and we suspect your kids will have this one in heavy rotation in no time.

With the holidays approaching (let the parties and eating begin!) many of us will be looking for ways to let our pants out versus trying to keep them up. But for those parents with a “skinny minny” to keep clothed, stopping pants from drooping down on hips and dragging around ankles can be a constant battle. And the clothespin on the back of the pants? Not the best look. Thankfully, Clippopotamus has a clip for that.

We have cleaning on our mind lately and we suspect it has a lot to do with spending more time inside which means more opportunities to spot the dirt. It also means you’ll notice more scents in your home, from the yummy (apple crisp in the oven) to the not so yummy (toxic cleaning fluids) so we’re always on the hunt for effective, eco-friendly and better smelling cleaning alternatives. Combine that with the fact that 73% of children would rather play with their parents than watch TV and 71% of parents feel they should encourage creativity at home but don’t know how* and we’re on the hunt for easy ways to incorporate more creativity into our time with our tots.

If you’re anything like us, when you head out and about with your stroller, kids, diaper bag, snacks, purse, pets and more, you tend to lose track of things. Not your kids of course…the other stuff. In fact we find it surprising that our stroller or diaper bag haven’t been nicked at least once while we were frolicking on the swings with our offspring. Which is why we were reassured to discover the Buggyguard B-Hook.
