Each one of us is unique and the things we like are too so if you pride yourself on giving original gifts then you won’t want to miss the upcoming One of A Kind Show and Sale. From December 9th – 12th the new Vancouver Trade and Convention Centre will be transformed into the perfect place to find everything you need for the holidays under one roof.

Featuring everything from children’s clothing to jewellery to toys to goodies it’s about a lot more than just shopping. Not only will they be providing complimentary on-site childcare from Nannies on Call, but there’ll also be complimentary gift wrapping, daily screenings of Handmade Nation and complimentary sewing classes where you can make everything from tote bags to baby bibs.

And we’ve saved the best for last (we say modestly). Our Editor-in-Chief, Annemarie Tempelman-Kluit, will be sharing her tips and tricks for stuffing fabulous stockings, plus some of her favourite One of Kind stocking-appropriate finds. Catch her at 5 pm on Friday the 10th and 2 pm on Saturday the 11th.

We’ve also got ten sets of tickets (valued at $20/set) to give away exclusively to yoyomama readers. From now until December 7th just leave a comment on the yoyomama site about who you’re most excited to see at the show – you’ll find a list of artisans here – and on the 8th we’ll draw for the winners.

It’s definitely the hot spot for gifts you won’t find anywhere else but be warned, you’ll get the rep as a matchless gift giver…
