You already think sustainable when it comes to your kids’ toys, your beauty lotions and your cleaning potions, but what about the tools that get that cleaning done? Have you ever thought about the environment when selecting a new scrub brush? We hadn’t till we discovered Full Circle’s eco-friendly, functional cleaning products.
Full Circle’s line of greener cleaning tools are made from sustainable and renewable resources – think scrub brushes with bamboo handles, biodegradable pot scrubbers and cellulose sponges - in China at a factory with environmental and social practices that meet their rather high standards.
But as lovely as all that is, it wouldn’t matter a fig if their products weren’t effective because we’re not going to buy something biodegradable if it doesn’t work. Luckily their products work really, really well and are priced on par with conventional cleaning tools.
We employed a little elbow grease to test their Suds Up Dish Brush; High & Dry Scrub Brush; Squeeze Cellulose Cloths; and Slice Cleaning Mitt.
We like the dish brush, with its useful push button for dispensing just the right amount of soap and the scrub brush is smartly designed to stand on end to dry, which means less bacteria but the cellulose cloths and cleaning mitt are probably our faves. The cellulose cloths are designed to replace paper towels and they last for ages, are hugely absorbent, easy-to-clean and they make us feel virtuous each time we use them. And the cleaning mitt’s triangular design with scrubby loofah on one side and softer bamboo on the other is our most effective tool for cleaning the tub.
New(ish) to Canada the only issue is figuring out where to find Full Circle products as they don’t list Canadian retailers on their site but if you contact their distributor via email they’ll help you find the nearest retailer.
Really there’s nothing not to like about these products, except for, you know, actually having to clean the house.
