With Halloween only a few weeks away, here’s a list of ongoing spooky, fun and entertaining events happening in and around the GTA. Bookmark it and refer back often as we’ll update when we find spooktacular new fun. We’ve also added farms with harvest festivities and pumpkin patches that will surely get the whole family into the fall spirit! This list only includes ongoing events, so check back the Thursday before Halloween for special weekend events for your little ghouls and goblins.
Halloween Howl
Saturday, October 23rd & Saturday, October 30th, 6:30 pm – 8 pm, Toronto Zoo, 361A Old Finch Avenue, Toronto
It’s a howling good time at the Zoo after dark, when families learn about wolves and how they communicate, and get the chance to try out their own authentic howl! This is an outdoor, ticketed event and space is limited: www.torontozoo.com
Boo At The Zoo
October 23rd – 24th & October 30th – 31st, 10 am – 4 pm, Zellers Discovery Zone, Toronto Zoo, 361A Old Finch Avenue, Toronto
Navigate the hay maze, drink from the cauldron of Boo Brew, and take part in the Critters and Costumes Parade at 12 pm & 2 pm daily. Families will enjoy storytelling, animal meet & greets, and busker shows, and best of all, up to two kids in costume (12 and under) get in free when accompanied by an adult: www.torontozoo.com
Camp Spooky
Every Saturday & Sunday in October, 10 am – 5 pm, Canada’s Wonderland, 9740 Jane Street, Maple
Parents and kids alike are invited to take part in a vampire treasure hunt, explore a haunted hay bale barn and get lost in a pumpkin patch or vampire maze. SCREEMERS

Screemers is back at Exhibition Place for its 18th blood curling Halloween season, featuring fresh frights like the entirely re-built Haunted House and a licensed Vampire Lounge. With lots of haunted attractions and rides, please note this is not recommended for kids under 10: www.screemers.ca
Howling Hootenanny
October 23rd – October 24th & October 30th – October 31st, 11 am – 4:30 pm, Black Creek Pioneer Village, 1000 Murray Ross Parkway, Toronto
Visit for a Halloween celebration with haunted mazes, creepy creature shows, circus acts, storytelling, pumpkin carving, and more! Enjoy old-time Halloween traditions in the historic village, or watch a great performance in the Event Pavilion: www.blackcreek.ca
Haunted High Park For Families
Saturday, October 23rd & Saturday, October 30th, various times, Colborne Lodge, Colborne Lodge Drive, Toronto
Visit Colborne Lodge and its grounds at night, hear ghostly tales and legends that have been told about the Lodge and High Park, and enjoy the included refreshments. This is not recommended for kids under the age of eight: www.highpark.org
Pumpkins & Harvest Fun!

Pumpkinland Harvest Festivals Weekend

Springridge Farm Harvest Festival
