When you become a mum your life and your lifestyle change. Instead of clothes that take you from work to a night on the town you need clothes that take you from nursing to the playground. And when the seasons change so does your style. You start digging out clothes you haven’t worn in months and possibly years. Plus there are the changes to your body caused by having a baby. How’s a mama supposed to maintain a sense of style in face of all these changes?

At Orange Hippo, a kid-focused Danforth art studio, parents avoid the mess all that creativity generates (still trying to get that marker off the wall?), but still get treasured artwork for the fridge.

You may not know that we love jewellery as much (if not more) than the next mama but you probably do know we’re big fans of reusing and recycling. So we were intrigued to discover Pam Eisen-Goldfarb’s recycled line of hand cut jewellery, Hand to Heart, that combines style with green substance and we thought she was a great fit for our Mamas Rock series.
