It’s the last long weekend of the summer and things are a little quiet around town, which isn’t surprising, but there’s still lots to do! And it seems fitting that September 8th is International Literacy Day! And don’t forget it’s the PNE’s last weekend!
Harvest Festival/Vegetable Contest at Clinton Park
Thursday, September 2nd, 10 am – 2 pm, Clinton Park, Vancouver
It’s the 5th Annual Vegetable Contest so bring the best veggie you’ve grown for a chance to win. Don’t have a green thumb? Have no fear there’ll also be yoga, bubbles, face painting, a fire truck, info booths and more: vancouver.ca
Taiwan Fest

20th Annual Serbian Day Festival
Friday, September 3rd, 9:30 pm onwards, Saturday, September 4th & Sunday, September 5th, 11 am – Midnight, St. Sava Church, Serbian Community Centre & George Park, 505 East 63rd Avenue, Vancouver
Celebrating Serbian culture as part of Canada’s multicultural society, you’ll find guest performers from many countries and backgrounds.
