You know that moment…you are calmly driving along with your little bundle of joy safely ensconced in their car seat, when suddenly you smell it.  The blowout.  The poo that oozes out of every nook and cranny, the one that you need to deal with pronto or your car will never be the same.

Inevitably this happens when you are on the highway or the nearest place to stop is a gas station, truck stop, or somewhere equally inconvenient. You’re either in the middle of nowhere or a place with no change table or other convenient spot to change your smelly little beastie.  We’ve changed a kiddo or two in the trunk of our hatch back, but that never seemed to end well….until we discovered the Dipe n’ Go.

The Dipe n’ Go is a funky, compact and convenient baby changing station for your SUV, minivan or hatch back vehicle.  It easily attaches to the side of the car and has plenty of room for diapers, wipes, balm and more.

We filled ours with washcloths, wipes, a small water bottle, a couple of cloth diapers, a toy or two and some diaper cream.  The pockets easily fit everything and somehow, the Dipe n’ Go magically stored it all compactly, attached tidily inside our vehicle.  We love the size of the change pad as it seems cover most of the floor of the hatch and helps prevent the spread of…well…stuff.  The washable fabric cleaned up like a dream and the fabric itself is suitably gender neutral, even if the pink dots are a bit girly.  The back of the pad is a dark colour that blends in nicely with the side of the car making the whole system relatively unobtrusive if you’ve got aesthetes in the family.

Of course, the easiest thing would be to ask our little munchikns to wait until they get home to fill up their diapers.  But until that happens we’ll just keep using our Dipe n’ Go.
