Here’s what’s happening all around town this weekend, if you like outdoor movies then you’ve got lots of choice. Don’t forget MusicFest and the Harmony Arts Festival. Carousel Theatre’s Teen Shakespeare Program presents The Taming of the Shrew

We weren’t totally sure this classic tale of Katherine and Petruchio was family-friendly but the folks at Carousel assure us that this free, open-air performance works for the whole family as kids can cavort about or nap (like audiences of old) or you can just stay as long as the show holds their attention: www.carouseltheatre.ca
South Vancouver Family Place 33rd Anniversary Picnic
