Having kids inspires so many mums to take up eco-friendly enterprises that perhaps their tots should start getting kickbacks. Oh wait, they already do – all the cool stuff their mums create to step more lightly on the earth and try to keep it in good shape for them when they’re older. Fill Your Own is a great case in point.
Fill Your Own started when mum and ecopreneur Annette Yang decided to take a step toward greener living and start using – and then designing – reusable water bottles. After the successful launch of their stainless steel water bottles which have an added je ne said quoi thanks to their vibrant designs from different Canadian artists, they’ve branched out.
Just in time for Earthy Day they’ve added compact reusable shopping totes and 100% rPET lunch bags – in equally fun and funky designs – to their offerings.
They’ve made it easier for you to keep your resolution to use reusable bags. Their compact totes are lightweight and fold up to the size of a cellphone, so you can pop them in your pocket or purse. They’re also strong, spacious and machine washable, so they won’t accumulate grunge and bacteria. They come in 100% polyester and rPET, which is made from recycled plastic water bottles.
If your tot is working towards a litterless lunch they can avail themselves of Fill Your Own’s alternative to the traditional ‘brown bag’.
