Contest: Bumbini Cloth Diaper Company

Filed Under Contests, Pregnancy and Birthing | April 1, 2010

There are lots of accessories and necessities you need for your newborn, though some of them are more necessary than others. One thing you can’t do without however, are diapers. Which is why the Bumbini Cloth Diaper Company will be giving away a gift certificate for $100 to one lucky yoyobelly reader.

If there’s one thing parents of a newborn need (other than sleep!) it’s a massive stack of diapers.  That’s where Bumbini Cloth Diaper Company has got you, and your baby’s bottom, covered.  Carrying a great range of modern cloth diapers and fantastic accessories to go with them, Bumbini has diapers to suit every family’s style and budget.   You’ll find many of the big brands plus lots of organic and “made in Canada” options.  Bumbini even offers free cloth diaper workshops that promise to demonstrate just how easy and fun cloth diapers can be.

So how can you get your hands on this absorbent prize? Just visit www.bumbini.ca, take a poke around then choose which cloth diapers top your list. Then come back to this contest on the yoyobelly site and share your top finds.  One lucky reader will be selected at random.

It’s easy to comment on any of our contests, but you do it on yoyobelly.ca not in our daily emails. All you need to do is add your comment at the bottom of the contest after the share and enjoy buttons. Please note: To be eligible for this contest you must use valid email address as that is how we’ll contact the winner.

  2. Marie on April 1st, 2010 1:43 pm

Love the bumGenius 3.0 diapers! We currently use them and it works just like a normal diaper! Gone are the days of taking out bags and bags or disposable diaper waste!

  3. Michelle on April 8th, 2010 5:47 am

I’m very interested in trying cloth diapers for my second little one. Thanks for offering this!

  4. Heather on April 8th, 2010 9:29 am

The Bummis swimmi swim diapers are adorable! Also as an expectant mom I found the diaper advice page full of helpful information, as I form my cloth diapering action plan.

So far with our newborn, I like the Bummis prefolds and the Bummis Super Whisper Wrap cover.

I love the Little-to-Big Beetle Organic Velour Diaper, they are oh so cute. I have never tried this type of cloth diaper but since this baby will be my last I would like to try some other cloth options

I started using cloth (mostly BumGenius) when my 1st baby was 8 months, and am now expecting baby #2 and am looking forward to starting from the beginning. I love BG, so would get more in a heartbeat, but would love to try the Dream Eze. I love the colours!

I like to use organic for my baby girl so I like the Bum genuis, little to big beetle and omaiki organic diapers for the cute styles and confortable fit.

It’s great to have this site offer diapering classes!

  10. Angela Lord on April 15th, 2010 5:50 am

I have never used cloth diapers before. To be honest, I thought anyone who used them must be crazy or love a lot of extra work. The cost of these diapers seem way to high for a single mom like me. However, after looking at the Bumbini site my views may have changed. I love the fact that you can use one diaper and change the size as the baby grows. That sounds like a money saving opportunity to me. I think I will have to reconsider my ignorant views about cloth diapers. Thanks Bumbini!

    I love the Dream-eze AIOs!!

  12. April Saxon on April 15th, 2010 9:15 am

I am a first time mom due in the summer, so It will be a little while before I get to try the different diapers, but you can count on me signing up for a class. I like the idea of using cloth diapers as there seem to be fewer complaints about diaper rash with their use, and they are better for the environment. Diapers sure have come a long way since I was changing my little sisters old fashioned cloth ones with pins. I like the look of the Omaki one-size hemp, Bum Genius, and I might even try a prefold with a made in Canada, fleece cover. After all, I never gouged my sister with the pins, so my baby is probably pretty safe.

I like the bumbini one size cloth diapers in green!

  14. Kim Campbell on April 22nd, 2010 7:25 am

I love the look of the Bamboozle diaper – it looks so fuzzy and absorbent.

  15. Shara on April 22nd, 2010 7:36 am

I’d like to try the Bumgenius organic all in ones. I have the regular bumgenius and really like them, so with organic fabric I imagine they’d only be better!!

  16. AMC on April 22nd, 2010 8:20 am

I like the bumGenius organic one size AIO the best. I used diaper service with my first baby as we didn’t have our own washer and dryer. Now we do, and I am keen to get our own set of cloth diapers.

  17. Gill Polard on April 22nd, 2010 12:29 pm

I really like the organic one size all in ones. Basically I think all in ones are the way to go, my first born is a wiggler (and really, really strong) so I can’t mess around w/ complicated bits and pieces. I’m hoping #2 (due next month) will be a little more chill but just in case…. I vote for the all in ones, and I love that shade of green too!

  18. tina neale on April 22nd, 2010 1:39 pm

I’m a big fan of the Bummies prefolds. They’re way more absorbent than my regular cotton shaped diapers and I don’t have all the hassle of tearing apart the sticky Velcro mass in the washing machine.

  19. Sachie Morii on April 23rd, 2010 2:18 pm

I would like to try bumGenius 3.0 All-in-One. It seems to be very simple and easy to use. I also like these all-in-on diapers have a longer drying time. Bumbini seems to be a great choice for moms who are enviornment and sustainability concious.

  20. Kasia Fink on April 28th, 2010 10:12 am

I would love to try cloth diapering and the BumGenius 3.0 all-in-one makes it look so easy!

  21. Gwen on April 28th, 2010 1:22 pm

I want to have a bunch of the all-in-ones so I can cloth diaper as a precurser to toilet training. PLease god it woks faster for my second than my first.

  22. Nicola on April 29th, 2010 6:06 am

Love, love, love, the little beetle wool line!!!

  23. Angela on April 29th, 2010 6:21 am

I’d love to try the Little Beetle merino wool diaper covers. I’ve heard wool covers are soft and work really well.

  24. Angela Lord on April 29th, 2010 6:26 am

I love the idea of having a cloth diaper class. That would really help a new mom like me ease into the idea of using a cloth diaper. :)

  25. Kam Kamg on April 29th, 2010 6:52 am

I would like to try the bum genius all in one. Something easy for the 1st one!

  26. D.S. on April 29th, 2010 7:14 am

I really like the Bum Genius Organic One Size All In One. I’m expecting my first this summer and am seriously considering cloth diapers so I’ve registered for a workshop to learn more.

  27. Dora on April 30th, 2010 12:47 pm

I currently use prefolds but I’ve been looking in to getting some fitted diapers or pocket diapers. I love, love, love the “Omaiko O signature diaper” on Bumbini!! How adorable is the one with the little monster!

  28. Cheryl Morrison on June 16th, 2010 4:41 pm

I just started cloth diapering and I am hooked. I LOVE the Omaiki O SIgnature diaper and would choose one of the Omaiki monster diapers as my favorite. Not only cute but functional!!!
