Bike the Blossoms

Salmon Baby Release

The salmon are being set free all around town this weekend, in this instance from the Seymour Salmon Hatchery at Maplewood Farm. A new crop of salmonoids are being released into the farm’s creek system. Our little one still talks about the salmon she released two years ago. In fact every time we eat salmon she wants to make sure it’s not “her” salmon. A great way to teach kids about spawning and cycles: www.maplewoodfarm.bc.ca
Streamkeepers Adopt-A-Fish Event
