This contest runs from March 1st to March 31st, 2010.

Pinky Blue’s going green and giving away an Eco Wood House by wonderworld toys in this month’s contest. Complete with room settings and furniture and with all accessories themes within the house include recycling, planting trees, solar panels, cycling and collecting rainwater. All this fabulous green play is valued at almost $200.

Pinky Blue Children’s Store in Richmond – and online – offers a lovely handpicked selection of the best and most practical baby products. You’ll find strollers, carriers, diaper bags, natural skin care, cloth diapers, toys, stylish clothes and shoes for your tots. In fact they carry everything you need to make your life with little ones easier.

So how can you get your name in the draw for the Eco House from wonderworld toys? Just visit www.pinkyblue.ca and write a review of a product you love (you’ll see the link to post your review under each product) but be sure to include yoyomama somewhere in your review so they know we sent you. The more reviews you write the more chances you have to win – but please restrict each review to one product. Whether it’s something you’d love to try or something you think other mothers need to know about – here’s your chance to share. You can get more entries by becoming a fan of Pinky Blue on Facebook (again, mention yoyomama) and coming back to this contest on the yoyomama site and adding your review here too.

The winner will be randomly drawn on April 1st, 2010. And that’s no joke. Please note: To be eligible for this contest you must use valid email address as that is how we’ll contact the winner.

The wooden toys on this site are great. My little lady would definitely enjoy the house, but more than that we are slowly replacing our daughters older toys with wooden options for our son. The Wonderworld Work Bench N’Box is great for hand/eye coordination and he enjoys it!! Will look to this site in future for bdays etc.

There are lots of fantastic products on that site. That doll house looks especially great. I tried to write a review on multiple items (the glowing clock, the Melissa & Doug shape sorter and the Automoblox Truck) but the page would only reload with no space for a review to be written. Not sure if it’s because I use FireFox or if it’s a problem with their site.

Dur. Never mind. You can delete that other comment if you want. I see now that the review pops up in a separate window which was hidden. Sorry!

I wrote my review on the Automoblox Truck which my son haves and LOVES. It’s a great toy – both a puzzle and a truck and has stayed in pretty good shape over months of use.

We absolutely love going to pinkyblue. I have to plan to not leave right away when I go because my daughters have a ball. We love the service and the products, particularly the Kiddopotomas placemat.

I love it – I try to get my daughter into recycling and environment but with all the nonsense toys out there beeping etc its sometimes hard to show her. This toy caught her eye immediately when we went to the site and if I don’t win it I might have to buy it.

We really want the Wishbone 3 in 1 Bike for our daughter! They are an amazing little bike and eco friendly

  8. Suzanne Clark on March 2nd, 2010 10:23 am

Great site, i signed up for their newsletter – of course! I will have to take a trip to check out their store and products, i already heart the Boon spoons and the Sanctus Mundo Thermal container.

  9. Candina Sethi on March 2nd, 2010 11:23 am

My daughter loves going to Pinky Blue and beelines it to the Wishbone 3 in 1 bike everytime. She loves that bike. My favorite purchase of late is the OK to Wake alarm clock for her which has helped us all get more sleep in our house.

  10. Jacquie on March 3rd, 2010 10:55 am

Lots of nice things! I love the denim hat and the boon bath toys for my little girl. My son has some of the automoblox minis, the little boy puzzle and has lots of fun with them. I would love to win the Eco House for them both!

  11. Megan on March 4th, 2010 8:27 am

Oh, I’d love to try out the Wonderworld Rainbow Sound Blocks. They look so neat! Also love to get the Boikido Train Set, as trains have become popular in our house lately.

  12. Misti on March 4th, 2010 11:17 am

I LOVE the Knuckleheads Grease Monkey Coveralls, I think I have to pick some up for my little monkey!

  13. Cheryl on March 4th, 2010 11:56 am

I think the green doll house is a wonderful idea! With the way our world is today, the abundance of plastic that is building up in our oceans and conserving energy is an absolute must to save our planet, it is a great idea for our little ones to start early by learning about the green way and how it affects our planet. I am really concerned with all of the toys that my son and daughter currently have with the risk of lead paint etc. etc. and my husband and I are really getting into the “green” mentality and were looking for ways to introduce it to our daughter who is now two years and starting to understand. This doll house would be a great way to show her and she can have fun with it as well!

We also do not have the wishbone bike, but we have several friends who do. They all rave about it and I see thier kids learnign how to balance and ride a bike with ease. I covet one for my daughter as well. She is just learning how to ride and if we get one will be a step ahead of her brother who learned how to ride a bike with training wheels. The only draw back is the steep price.

We LOVE Pinky Blue!!!! We are there often, and Gramma is a VIP! My daughter’s birthday is coming up this summer and we have been talking about a doll house…so this would be PERFECT!

  17. Robyn on March 5th, 2010 8:37 am

We love our frog pod! It keeps everything nice and tidy in the bath and even has a spot to keep shampoo and baby wash.. The removable scoop is great to use as a game to gather up the toys and to rinse them off. We used the adhesive mount without problems of any kind. The green is a great colour, and it looks very cool on the wall in our bathroom. We love this, but had a hard time choosing between the frog and ladybug!

  18. Wen on March 5th, 2010 10:06 am

Pinky Blue is a wonderful store. Always friendly service and great product selection & pricing. As a new mom with a 6 month old we are loving our BabyCubes. I make all our baby food for 2 weeks on a Saturday and pull out cubes from the freezer when I need them. Having separate cubes lets you have variation in baby’s diet. The bottom tray is also stackable so cubes aren’t falling all over the place in the freezer.

  19. Wen on March 5th, 2010 3:15 pm

We got Manhattan Toy’s Classic Skwish as a shower gift and I thought “interesting…” But it has been my daughter’s favorite toy since she was 3 months old. She could easily grasp it and rattle it herself from a very early age. She is facinated by the moving balls and will crawl to get it every chance she gets. yoyomama & pinkyblue fan approved! :)

  20. Tanya Komori on March 5th, 2010 3:28 pm

The plantoys construction vehicles look great. The parts move well and the colors and size are perfect for little hands and minds.

  21. Jane on March 6th, 2010 12:07 am

My daughter would love the dollhouse! I’m trying to teach her the importance of recycling and this would help reinforce that…not to mention be a lot of fun!

  22. merina on March 8th, 2010 8:21 am

My daughter is so into playing house right now, this little playhouse is absolutely perfect. And with the focus on the environment and ways to recycle built right in, I can’t think of a better way for her to grasp this concept at the same time (she’s 2 1/2 right now)!

  23. Shara on March 8th, 2010 7:43 pm

I reviewed the raz-berry teether, as I’ve had it for my son since he was about 4 months old and got his first tooth and he’s been chewing on it ever since. He just loves it…it’s his favourite teether by far and it’s just so darn cute. I have the traditional red and green one for him.

  24. Maureen on March 9th, 2010 10:07 am

What I like about wooden toys is how well made they look. I love that this house has included solar panels, a windmill and recycling bins – good for teaching.

  25. Andrea on March 9th, 2010 1:25 pm

Love the fold up car playmat!!

  26. TAMMY on March 9th, 2010 11:17 pm

If I won this fabulous looking house my little one wouldn’t leave for daycare, but I’ll take my chance :-)

  27. veronika on March 12th, 2010 8:53 am

The Born Free sippy cup is helping my son Matthew to make the switch from bottle to cup and that makes me happy! Whether it’s filled with diluted juice, milk or rooibos tea, the cup allows him to shake up the colored beverage without spilling it all over the floor which makes me, his mom, happy! Thanks Yoyomama for letting me know about this contest. Matthew would love to play with a wooden house as currently he is playing with my couch pillows and empty diaper boxes! haha!

  28. Sandra on March 13th, 2010 5:37 pm

Pinky Blue has lots of wonderful wooden toys and cute clothing. My favorite toy is the Wishbone 3-in-1 bike.

  29. Csilla on March 14th, 2010 10:21 am

I have the Kidskonserve nesting trio and find it quite useful, packing sandwiches and snacks for my son’s daycare lunch. The smaller one is just right for his fruit, and one of the bigger ones for sandwiches. If you pack yoghurt into them, make sure the lid is fit properly, otherwise it could leak a bit!

  30. Krissie on March 15th, 2010 10:42 am

I already have the Dapple Toy cleaner and love it and now I cant wait to come in a buy the BabyGanics hand sanitzer and other products! Love the eco-friendly products!

  31. Tammy on March 16th, 2010 12:11 pm

we love the Automoblox T9 Green Truck we have a few of the other cars. I love the wooden toys.

  32. Melanie on March 16th, 2010 7:50 pm

My husband and I recently bought an ERGO carrier for our second child from the staff at Pinky Blue. We love the carrier and the time the staff took to make sure it was the right one for us before we left the store was very much appreciated. I would recommend this quality product to all new parents!

  33. Heather on March 17th, 2010 6:44 am

Great site…. The house would definitely be a hit with our 2 boys for years to come. Also love the automoblox – have a couple of their small ones and the three year old loves to put them together into various arrangements (a limousine, a tiny car, etc….)

  34. Ghislaine Chan on March 17th, 2010 11:12 pm

My review for the Organic Ergo Baby Carrier – I have tried many baby carriers and this is by far one of the most comfortable ones. My son grew out of his other baby carriers and weighted more than 20 lbs, but still wanted to be carried around quite a bit (he is very attached). I am so glad that I found this carrier. This saved my back and yet still allowed me to have my baby close to me. It is a bit challenging placing the baby in the back, but with some practice it gets easier.

  35. victoria on March 19th, 2010 11:59 am

ooohhh i love it!!! my daughter would too!

  36. Leanne Harris on March 22nd, 2010 10:16 am

Would like the frog pod for my daughters bath toys, my girlfriend has it and loves it!

  37. Susan Giles on March 22nd, 2010 10:32 am

See Kai Run shoes are our time-tested favourite! My daughter passed on her Evan sandals to my son. Both kids loved them! Light-weight and flexible meant the end to the refusal to walk. We couldn’t believe that the issue was with shoes! Yes, we are huge fans! And love that the Evan sandal looked great with girl clothes and boy clothes. It’s not often you can hand-me-down from your daughter to your son!

  38. Katherine on March 23rd, 2010 7:50 am

The shoes from See Kai Run are just the best! I’ve received two pairs as a gift for both my son and daughter and they are very well made (and able to be passed along), look very stylish and the kids say they are super comfortable. I think it’s worth spending a bit more on quality shoes to ensure comfort and a proper gait.

  39. Letticia on March 24th, 2010 4:14 am

If your child loves cars, trucks, puzzles and taking things apart, automoblox vehicles are fantastic! We have several different ones which have provided lots of creative building and playing for our little car fanatic.

  40. Jenn on March 24th, 2010 8:33 am

We love the Frog Pod by Boon at our house. It’s a great and attractive way to organize your bath tub toys.

  41. Stephanie on March 28th, 2010 10:46 pm

I love the Plan Toys Teaset. I think it is wonderful that they include the little tea bags to make everything just like the adults do it.

  42. Corrina on March 30th, 2010 9:45 am

I love that Pinkyblue carries the Haba line as well as other eco-friendly toys. It’s so nice to be able to go somewhere and find alternatives to plastic! My daughter also loves her See Kai Run shoes :)

  43. Dora on April 1st, 2010 10:34 am

I just reviewed several products on PinkyBlue including the SwaddleMe, Sophie the Giraffe and Natursutten soothers. : )

I had a couple of minor problems with posting the reviews. First, it doesn’t tell you there’s a 500 character limit per review before you start typing it. Then, it doesn’t tell you how MUCH over you are so it took me some fiddling before I got it down to 500 or less. Second problem: the little verification code you need to type in had some crazy character I couldn’t find on my keyboard or special symbols!
