Yesterday we had some lovely ideas for your little ones but today’s Valentines’ gift suggestions are all about you – and your significant other, starting with you:

We never thought we could feel so strongly about a thermos mug but we’re seriously in love with Kleen Kanteen’s BPA-free stainless steel Wide Mouth Insulated Bottles. They keep hot drinks really hot and cold drinks nice and cool. Each bottle comes with a leak proof cap – and it works, we threw our bottle into our purse when it was full of a latte with nary a leak – but we suggested accessorizing with their café cap which turns your bottle into a travel mug. Plus it makes a great thermos. And just think, pour your morning coffee into one of these and you won’t have to reheat it in the microwave three times before you can actually drink it: www.raspberrykids.com

If you’re a fan of Chocolat – the book or the movie – than you’ll want to stop by Main Street’s Chocolaterie de la Nouvelle France. A chocolate and confection shop, owner Anne-Geneviève Poitras was inspired by French classics and she offers truffles, dipped chocolates, pâtes de fruits and caramels. Her fleur de sel caramel tops our list. Poitras makes everything by hand without preservatives, artificial flavours or colours, right from infusing teas, spices and flowers. A romantic place to visit or send your significant other to stock up: chocolaterienouvellefrance.ca

And now for him. We know many of you were intrigued when we wrote about Panty by Post last fall and we suspect more than a few of you may have received them as gifts over the holidays.  So why not return the favour and order him Briefs in a Box? He’ll get two pair of eco-friendly manly undies in the mail. Made from bamboo and Natura, a recycled plastic, they’re durable and come in all different colours, sizes and lengths to suit everyone from athletes to yogis to armchair athletes: pantybypost.com

So pass this along to whoever should be buying you something special for next Sunday and spread the love. In the meantime if you’re looking for other little gift ideas you might like some of these:
