little love
We’re of two minds about Valentine’s Day. On one hand we love letting those we love know we love them. But we sometimes chafe at the feeling of being forced to make those declarations on a prescribed day. Our solution? Small treats on the big day and then consciously remembering to spread the love all year round. So here are some of our favourite little treats for little ones.

Starting from a little store on Main Street in Vancouver almost 65 years ago, London Drugs has had a lot of experience helping their customers through all of life’s changes – which is why they have got a pretty good handle on the needs of young families. Getting prepared for baby requires a lot of lists. Baby proofing your home. Check. Crib, stroller and car seat. Check. Baby clothes pre-washed in non-toxic detergent. Check. But among all those lists don’t forget the things you need to pack in a hospital bag for yourself, your baby and your significant other. You may be in the hospital for longer than you expect, so pack more than you need. Here’s a handy dandy list to get you started.

And we’ve already added more events to the list, they’re marked with a little pair of red mitts! And have no fear, despite road closures and parking restrictions there are still other events happening around town.

Filed Under Going Green, Stuff | February 3, 2010
In the lead up to Valentine’s Day we’re focusing on things we love and one thing we’re awfully fond of is sleep. In fact there’s not a parent we know who doesn’t long for more of it. After all not enough sleep affects your memory, your weight and your health. But since the sleep cards are already stacked against you when you’ve got little ones, it’s important to make sure the sleep you get is as healthy as possible, which is where Natura comes into play.
