I’ve been working out with fit4two since my first child was 8 months old. I did both the indoor and outdoor bootcamp with Julianne up until I returned to work. When I got pregnant in june of 2008, I once again went to fit4two and worked out in the prenatal class and then followed up with Tummies4Mommies, Mom and Baby fitness, stroller fitness, postnatal nutrition and Mom and Baby bootcamp, both indoor and outdoor. I love that I can work out and have my baby with me. I also like that the instructors are trained in pre/post natal exercise and they teach how to safely stay in shape while pregnant and get back into shape after baby.
Fit 4 Two is an outstanding program for pregnant women and new moms. I always felt so energized after a class during my pregnancy and have met so many great friends through the classes. Melanie (Downtown Fit 4 Two)has such a great energy about her and makes working out a lot of fun. Now that I have had my little one I love getting back out to workout and see some other moms and babies. The mommy and baby classes are such a great way to get out with your baby. Often my little guy just sleeps through classes so there is really no need to wait until your baby is a certain age to start coming to a class. I would highly recommend the classes at the Roundhouse (at Lilli Q during the Olympic month)to any pregnant moms or new moms!
I started working out with Fit 4 Two in the Prenatal classes when I was about 41/2 months pregnant. The classes were an awesome way to keep up my energy and also helped me to reduce back and general body aches and pains.
My favorite part about the prenatal classes was that the instructors change the format of the classes from week to week – you never get bored. One week might be step class, while the next is a circuit or bootcamp style.
I had my baby 8 weeks ago and am looking forward to taking the Postnatal classes as soon as they begin in 2010. Looking to take tummies4mummies for sure and indoor stroller bootcamp!
I have completed two fit4two prenatal classes in north vancouver. I enjoyed keeping fit and meeting other expecting moms at the same time. I have signed up for postnatal classes in the new year 2010- bootcamp and tummies4mommies. I am looking foward to working out with my baby near by and seeing Monica and Carolee the instructors who provide a great workout and lots of great tips.
Thanks for all the love!
