I would love this because I have gained about 40 pounds in the last 4 years and I have decided that 2010 is the year to kick my weight problem once and for all and this would be a tremendous help!
This fresh start has me written all over it! Once our 2nd baby is born in just a few weeks, it’s time to work on me again! Time to get healthy and make some better choices!
Baby #2 is now 1 years old. Now it’s time to schedule some “me” time. Losing some weight is my priority.
I have finally regain my body – baby #2 is no longer nursing. But as a result a few of those pounds I lost have found me again. Time to eat less, better and workout more. This would be a great motivator.
Great way to start off the New Year! I am trying to figure out how to manage baby, going back to work, keeping house in order and finding time for me.
boy oh boy oh boy! do I ever need a jumpin’ kickstart … my third kid is almost three, and I am starting to think about myself, just a little bit. I could sure use some encouragement and, moreover, advice to get going!
I’d love a helping hand and motivator to get me going towards a healthier body!
Wow, this couldnt come at a better time.. as I stand looking into my cupboards ready to purge the unhealthy stuff I am completely overwhelmed… where to start… I would love to win a jumpstart to get me on the right track
I lost over 50 pounds last year which gave me a better body and more energy than before I had my four kids. I’ve gained a bit back over the holidays and am now vowing to lose that and keep it off to enjoy the new me.
I have a 2yr & 3yr, potty training x2, work full time and have gained too many pounds! I need motivation and help focusing on who I am now not mourning the who I used to be!
Before I got pregnant with my little guy, I was very active. I did the Sun Run every year, would run other 10km runs around the city, would hike the Grouse Grind several times a season, would regularly run with my husband and did kickboxing three times a week. Seems once I got pregnant, I hit a road block. My little boy is now eight months and I have improved a little but, not much. This prize would help motivate me and hopefully get me out of my funk, I desperately want out of.
I have a two year old and a nine-month old that mean everything to me. I want them to grow up with healthy eating habits, healthy esteem surrounding food and body image, and a healthy respect for their bodies and exercise. I know this is my job to help teach them this – so of course, this program would help me to help me and them!
I could really use the extra motivation to get back into shape after having my little guy (now 7 months). I also want my son to grow up in a fit and healthy home with a great role model mommy.
Having a personal trainer would be the motivation I need to keep me accountable and on track!
I would like to nominate my girlfriend Nancy, who has twin 8 year old boys. She is an amazing woman who is so busy making sure everyone else is taken care of she doesn’t take the time for herself, something I know she would love to do. She has often talked about doing something like this, this would give her motivation she needs to move in the direction is wanting to go in but as yet had the opportunity to just do it.
Terrible twos = mommy blues. Gained some (read lots) of holiday weight, lack of time and a very independant minded 2 year old is wearing me down. I always wanted to try coaching after a friend found valuable help in it, but couldn’t find anything to fit into my schedule. The joy of skype plus the motivation and challenge of a coach would certainly help me achieve my new years goal of a balanced life.
Motivation please! I need someone to help me tone up those trouble areas.
Just a few days away from turning 45 and I would love some tips on how to find the time to get back in running shape and eat healthier – especially getting the kids (7 and 4)expand their food choices.
I would love to win this contest. I need some help and motivation. I have a very busy 2 and a half year old and I haven’t been able to loose the baby weight even when I’ve tried countless diets and gone to the gym. I need to go back to my pre baby life style.
I could really use the help! It seems that every day I start off dieting and end up eating too many calories and not doing enough exercise. I hope I win!
I like the idea of having a coach to help me work through challenges of working full time while balancing family, friends and me (active and not active)time.
I have a 3 month old and all I can think about is raising him in a healthy, happy home and anything that can help me achieve this is more than welcome:)
Single-Mom-By-Choice, but not un-fit by choice! I’m turning 40 this year – working full time and having a 3-yr-old is not the best combination for finding the time to get “me” balanced. I’ve always enjoyed an active lifestyle that meant I didn’t NEED to go to a gym, but now… I need something different to get my mind shifting gears, my body up and going, and my habits revised and nourished. I’m motivated by lonely in my efforts… Thanks for the contest!
It seems that baby #2 is a common factor with a lot of the women who want help. I am the same. The issue becomes priorities and I am the lowest one. Along with that comes the post 40 body that doesn’t seem to want to drop the weight they way it used to. I’m not so concerned about the number on the scale anymore as wanting to be fit again and feel healthy. I want to be a role model for my boys and the kids I teach.
I need the extra little push a trainer can provide. I feel like I need the excersise expertice that will make ny post baby shape up more efficient and the nutrition help also so that I can kick those nasty habits that taste so good but feel so bad later.
It’s all about choices for me. If the chocolate craving is controllable then I control myself so that I can have it when I really can’t resist! I also try not to eat after 9PM.
Baby # 2 is winding down on the nursing and its time for me to get fit! I have tried so many things on my own and haven’t had the motivation to continue. I am at my heaviest right now and would love a confidence boost, the fresh start would be awesome for me!
I used to be very active in sports until I ruptured my achilles which required major surgery. It took almost 1 yr of rehab to get back on my feet. Then after rehab, I found out that I was pregnant. Baby is almost 2 now so that means it’s been almost 4yrs of no regular exercise! I just started working out 30 min only a couple times a week. But I need a serious boost to build my confidence in sports again and a kick in the butt to get into a regular exercise routine and to return to healthier eating. I want to do this in the most safe and positive way I can.
Hi there – lost some weight breastfeeding #2 who is now almost 6 months old, but now starting to put it back on. That in combination with ongoing sleep deprivation – means I could use a jumpstart to some healthier habits – for this “mature” (read older) mom of two little ones. Thanks….for the contest.
We all live very privileged lives by having the options and abilities to take steps towards better health, mindfulness and growth. As a new and young mom, I feel very honoured to be surrounded by the love of a my first child and my family and friends who very much love and support me. Nonetheless, I am the kind of person who must continue to reach out and have the support, guidance and imparting knowledge of a skilled teacher during this time of transformation. Life is busy, often unpredictable and chaotic, so taking the time to learn and practice with a coach would be a great and extremely appreciate gift.
this looks so great. I just had a baby 6 weeks ago and would love to start looking for healthy ways to drop the weight.
This couldn’t be more perfect; I don’t even need to worry about arranging someone to care for Benji while I care for myself!
I think that ‘a plan’ would keep me on track for the new year. Knowing what I should be doing, when I should be doing and what results I can expect to see.
I think this will help me get off my butt and make some changes.
Motivation! is what I need to let my love handles go.
Coaching is what I need to keep my 2010 resolutions! Someone that helps me stay on track when life comes in the way.
Would love to have someone coach me on health & wellness. Can’t seem to find time to exercise & eat well. Seems like I’m always in a rush!
I would love this! I have worked hard after gaining 60lbs during pregnancy to lose all the weight. I am constantly trying to set higher goals for myself. I would love the guidance!
A wellness coach for my husband would be really helpful for me! With a preschooler and a newborn, i could use the help to get my husband on an excersize program so he can be healthy and keep fit for our 2 kids.
Great gift for 2010! I have already started trying to get back to my before 3 kids body but it will be a long haul and I could use all the help I can get.
