Weekends are heating up with holiday happenings and this Friday is the United Nation’s National Child Day and Universal Children’s Day which is all about celebrating children and reminding us they need love and respect. On Saturday it’s the biweekly Winter Farmer’s Market. And we’ve added more craft fairs to our listing. Flag Walk…Yaletown to South Granville
launches Friday, November 20th, ongoing to February 2010, various locations. Vancouver

Public Ice Skating at Robson Square

GE Square in Robson Square will be open for free public skating from Noon to 9 pm daily right through the Olympics and beyond. Not only that but on Tuesdays and Thursdays from Noon to 1:30 and Sunday from 1:30 pm to 3 pm they’ll be hosting family-friendly concerts in a mix of genres and on Sundays from 5 pm – 9 pm they’ll be hosting family-friendly evening concerts.
