Want to do a bit of stretching and bending to get ready for your baby’s arrival or recover from it post partum? This month on yoyobelly Kerrisdale Yoga is giving away a 10 Class Membership to a set of their Baby & Me or Prenatal classes valued at $105.
Located in the quiet neighbourhood of Kerrisdale, Kerrisdale Yoga is a welcoming, friendly boutique studio. They keep their class sizes small to make your practice more effective. Their Prenatal Yoga classes allow you to connect with other mothers-to-be in a safe, supportive environment while using yoga and breath work to prepare for birth and motherhood. Their Baby & Me classes are all about meeting other new mothers while you strengthen your core, improve your posture, build confidence and relax using yoga postures, breath techniques and meditation. And they schedule things so that both sets of mamas can mingle and chat over tea between classes.
So how can win this chance to connect with your community while working on your health? Just check out www.kerrisdaleyoga.com and then come back to this contest on the yoyobelly site and comment on why you’d like to take Prenatal Yoga or Baby & Me classes. For another chance to win just drop by their studio and let them know yoyobelly sent you and they’ll add you into the draw.
It’s easy to comment on any of our contests, but you do it on yoyobelly.ca not in our daily emails. All you need to do is add your comment at the bottom of the contest after the share and enjoy buttons. With a 2 1/2 year old & a 3 month old it is impossible to find time to get exercise and “mama time”. Baby & Me Yoga sounds like the perfect way to get a bit if that as well as some special bonding time with my baby.
I’d love to do some pre-natal yoga! Sounds like the ideal way to stay fit before the baby comes
I would love to do prenatal yoga. Now that I am 28 weeks pregnant I have noticed that I am always sore. I feel that learning some relaxation and stretching techniques would help my entire body. I also have had a very stressful pregnancy. I really think yoga would be helpful in relieving some of my stress.
I would love to take prenatal Yoga classess. I am 28 weeks and suddenly feel like I am looking at a stranger when I see my reflection. Just before I conceived I was in a head on collision and was unable to continue my job. I have been off work since last spring and have not been able to spend money on luxury items like yoga. Winning the contest would be amazing.
I’ve been doing Yoga for years, but now that I am pregnant I’m having a very difficult time finding classes that work for me! I usually have to make up my own poses, and I wish I didn’t have to. I’d love to take a class just for pregnant women like me! I also like that the Kerrisdale classes are meant to prepare pelvic muscles, hips and legs for childbirth.
I love yoga and it gives me more pleasure to bring my 4.5 month old to participate in OM’s, stretching, asana and to learn to respect and honour oneself together. Baby and me yoga enables me to give my best to my child as I learn patience, understanding and to be able to give myself the gift of yoga. Namaste.
I did some yoga when I was pregnant and loved it. It would be so nice to win some classes and take my now eight month old with me. He loves to get out and I would love to get some exercise at the same time.
I need a gentle way to get back in shape after baby #2!
I love yoga and how it makes me feel. I am looking forward to introducing my 3.5 month old son to this wonderful practice!
I am looking so forward to a healthy 2010 after a 2009 of incubating, birthing and recuperating. And to getting back into caring for myself as well as for my 3 month and 22 month old. I am also very glad that this class is located in Kerrisdale, our home community. I am seeing lots more young moms, dads and kids in the neighbourhood, and am so happy to be a part of this wonderful community.
