Things are a little quiet this long weekend, what with the lead up to back to school, but there’s still lots of fun to be had. And it’s your last chance to catch the Fair at the PNE:

Mount Pleasant Pool Last Outdoor Community Pool Party
Monday, September 7th, Noon – 3 pm, Mount Pleasant Pool, 3161 Ontario Street, Vancouver
It’s the final day of the Mount Pleasant Pool and they’ll be celebrating with free swimming, a BBQ, cake and a giant splash. At 3 pm there’ll be  a Pool Parade to promote public consultation on the future of the park site and to encourage the Park Board to include a pool replacement project in their next Capital Plan: vancouver.ca
