booby traps

Okay, we have to admit that the following product is one we approached with a bit of trepidation. It seemed so gimmicky. Was it really possible to pump hands-free? So we were determined to put a PumpEase, a hands-free pumping support, to a rigorous, brand-new-mum test and see what transpired.
Reminiscent of a boob tube from days of yore – only with strategically placed holes - you strap the PumpEase on over your nursing bra (or just over your plain old self) and it holds everything in place whether you’re using an electric pump or a manual one, allowing you to check your emails, read, catch up on your phone calls or cuddle your babe. Of course, if you’re using a manual pump it’s never going to be quite hands-free, just hands free-er.
Our tester found it worked just as promised and she appreciated being able to hold her babe properly rather than juggling the pump and the little one. But because she wasn’t using an electric pump and pumping both sides at once – and she was using her PumpEase au naturel – she would put a breast pad over the side that was “resting” so it wasn’t peeking out for all the world to see. She also found it easy to set up and use, which is important when you’re sleep deprived and hormonal.
Made in Canada of a quick-drying (because you know you’re going to leak), poly/spandex blend fabric, you can get a PumpEase in fun prints and patterns too. And this is no one-size-fits-all product, instead it’ll accommodate “the girls” in sizes from 32AA to a 48H
Not everyone pumps milk or pumps frequently, but if you find you need to for reasons ranging from your baby having a medical condition, to engorgement, to mastitis or because your partner wants to be part of feeding your babe, why not make it easier on yourself? Besides, it’ll make it that much easier to keep up your blog about the trials, tribulations and triumphs of new motherhood.

hahah! my husband thought he invented this idea! he cut holes in an old bra of mine. (i pumped and bottle-fed my twins for a year and complained about not being able to do anything besides pump.) this product would probably work a lot better though :)
