At this point in the summer you and the kids may be getting just a little tired of each other’s company and your well of fun ways to pass the time may have run dry. Which is why we’ve assembled a list of free, downloadable, printable crafts to help keep your kids busy. Aside from some paper and printer ink, most of these require nothing more than a bit of hands-on mama time and once you’ve got your kids up and running they should be good to go on their own.

When do stickers not appeal to kids? We’ve yet to find that time, which is why we thought these print them yourself space and animal stickers that can be printed on adhesive paper from Lotta Bruhn were so much fun.

Paper dolls offer hours of fun for your tots. Hillary Lang’s paper dolls from Wee Wonderfuls come with a wealth of outfits. She recommends printing them on magnetic paper, which seems rather hard to find, so we’d suggest just adding in the tabs yourself. And Sarah Neuburger from the Small Object has this paper doll craft on Kiddley. Rather than coming with outfits, this dolly is designed to be decorated with scraps of felt, fabric and whatever else you have lying about the house.

Looking for something more local? Here are some 2010 Mascot crafts and colouring pages. Whether you’re for or against the games, you can use these free downloads to express your feelings artistically. Oh right, these are supposed to be for your kids.

And while they’re puttering away with stickers, paper dolls and crafts how about something just for you? These calling cards from Cameron Blazer can be personalized for handing out to mums you meet at the park, play gym or library. Just think how organized you’ll seem!
