Another (hot) summer long weekend is upon us, and that means lots of travelling. And the 5th Edition of the Lonely Planet’s Travel with Children has just been released. Admittedly it came out a little later than they’d hoped, but it’s still just in time to make the rest of your summer travels a little easier.

There are so many things to consider when you’re getting ready for your new arrival, everything from picking the perfect car seat to sleeping arrangements to whether or not to switch to non-toxic cleaning products. And then there are bottles. Canada was a leader in banning BPA in baby bottles, but even “safer” plastics don’t always appeal. And glass bottles are great, but they’re not super portable, what with not being shatterproof and all. Which is why we’re more than a bit smitten with these stainless steel baby bottles from Canadian company organicKidz.

Back in July of 2007 we covered the launch of dandelion KIDS’ new online store and now they’ve done it again and upgraded their site to make it more user-friendly and added heaps more products, almost everything they sell in store in fact. And speaking of online shopping, in the fall of 2007 we were all over the opening of Mink Chocolates and now we’re thrilled that they’ve launched an online store.
