fits to a tee

We tend to approach most nursing wear with caution. There always seems to be an alarming amount of flaps, zippers and extra layers in odd place, so we were a bit wary of Mountain Blue Eyes’ active wear for nursing. But after we put their Nursing Tank to the test, we realized our caution was unnecessary.
The Mountain Blue Eyes’ tank is has been road, track and trail tested to provide all that an après-baby bod needs. With a slightly longer fit that’s loose enough to accommodate any mummy tummy you’ve got leftover and quick, easy, discreet access to your milk supply, it’s also anti bacterial, moisture-resistant, quick drying and pill resistant.
Whether your idea of being active is pushing the stroller or training for a marathon, this tank will keep you covered. (Disclaimer: admittedly we haven’t actually trained for a marathon in it, but we’ve heard from mums who have). It’s also a great layering piece for new mums. Wear it alone in warmer weather or under a cardi or button down for more coverage. Because it wicks away moisture any leaks or post nursing spit up will dry fast and be less noticeable. And luckily it’s hard wearing because it’s not the cheapest tank around, but it will be the one you wear over and over again.
Developed by Albertan mama and exercise physiologist Catherine Decelles who wanted to stay active and comfortable while breastfeeding, the line, which is made locally in Calgary, also includes a nursing fleece and tees. Decelle developed and put her product to the test during her 14 months of nursing, honing and perfecting it everywhere from the Canadian Rockies to Hawaiian beaches.
That’ll teach us to keep an open mind.
