I loved being able to eat whatever and however much I wanted. Cause, hey, I was eating for 2 after all ;)
I’ve been to the store and absolutely love it. Great merchandising!!! Will start stocking up on clothes as soon as we know the gender of the baby.
What do I love about being pregnant?
For one of the first times in my life, I’m able to celebrate my big, beautiful belly. Also, I don’t have to feel any guilt if I eat an ice cream sandwich in the middle of the day. I feel more connected with what my body really wants/needs and hope that I maintain this self-love and intuition after the baby arrives!!!
[...] we covered a great diaper bag that would make a fab Father’s Day gift. And check out this month’s contest. We’ll be announcing the winner of last month’s contest soon. Are you doing some serious sharing in [...]
What do I love about being pregnant? Feeling this new life grow inside me, and every kick and pain is worth it!!
While my husband’s favorite thing about my being pregnant are my fabulous new boobs…for me it is simply that I am finally pregnant after 3 years of infertility. Success!
My favorite thing about being pregnant is the baby kicks – and looking forward to meeting the little soccer player for the first time : )
I just gave birth to my beautiful baby girl and what I loved about being pregnant was the excitment of what was to come. I really enjoyed day dreaming about the baby and what hopes and dreams I had for our child. Thank you.
For me the best part is the shopping! Now I get to buy all the cute baby clothes we’ve had to ‘just look’ at for years!
I haven’t had the best pregnancy experience, however, I also have not had the worst. This being my first, there are all sorts of things that humble you each day. Amongst the pain and the heat of my third trimester, I have managed to feel a sense of hope in feeling the bump, bump of the brave new life inside of me. That little new life is what brings joy to my pregnancy and excitment for the future.
Favourite?? There are so many favourites, but I would say watching my belly grow and finally being able to feel the baby move around and kick and tickle and turn. We can’t wait to see what we’re having and what the baby will look like. Very exciting!
My favourite thing about being pregnant is how I have magically become non-competitive! I no longer feel the need to race to work on my bike along Broadway, and instead take the slow route, along the sea wall, coasting whenever possible (and I cycle in skirts rather than spandex!). I swim in the slow lane, luxuriating in my new ability to float with ease. I sleep in, and show up at work at 9.05 (this morning it was almost noon!), rather than frantically trying to be early. Slowing down this spring has allowed me to savour my wonderful husband, beautiful Vancouver, the bountiful garden, and my new belly!
My favourite thing about being pregnant is the quiet times when it’s just me and a belly that’s moving around. That’s when it all feels real, finally.
My favourite thing about being pregnant is lifting up my shirt when the babes is kicking and seeing my stomach move on its own. The joy I feel is incredible.
My favourite thing was my husband talking to our son in my belly and telling him how much he loved him and excited he was to meet him!
My favourite thing about being pregnant is feeling the baby wiggle around when I sing to him! What a cool feeling, and it’s so nice to feel some connection before he’s even born.
Pregnancy really is a beautiful blessing.
It’s my first and I am loving all the “firsts”, first kicks, first time eating anything without guilt, first time saying no to wine at a dinner party (ok maybe I don’t love that one), first time really connecting with other mum’s and mum’s to be, first time not fitting into my clothes and smiling about it (not frowning)…the list goes on and on.
I truly enjoy feeling the baby moving inside of my belly and sharing the closeness and togetherness my partner and I have been sharing since we got pregnant. I also love knowing that he will be an amazing father!
My favorite thing about being pregnant was how, for the first time in my life, I felt an extremely emotional and positive connection with my body. Now, as a mother of two, I am so thankful for my amazing body and what it has been able to do for me (and my babies)…
I loved all the luxuries like: getting a seat on the bus and everywhere else for that matter, not having to carry anything heavy, people holding the door open for me, getting to eat first at the buffet table, having a great excuse to get out of anything, being able to slouch in a bikini and my fat tummy being cute, and most of all…1 YEAR MATERNITY LEAVE! ;o)
My favourite thing about being pregnant is feeling the baby move inside me, it’s definitely the most amazing feeling! Another favourite thing is how amazing my hair looks, it’s thick, shiny, and healthy!! Something that only lasts about 9 months or so!
I am only 6 weeks pregnant… pretty early! Only a few people in my life know. I know I have a long road ahead of me, but my favorite thing about being pregnant is the PROFOUND JOY I feel. I don’t think I have ever been so happy before. I didn’t even think I would have children until a couple of years ago. Then, after trying for quite a while, I was afraid I couldn’t get pregnant. So being here is the most amazing feeling I have ever experienced. It is real, simple, beautiful joy. I think it is true love!
I love being able to indulge in treats and not feel guilty…ice-cream, long baths, and just savoring every moment of this special journey. I also love sharing the experience with my 2 year old daughter and seeing her delight in singing songs to my belly!
My favorite thing is taking weekly photos of my belly, and then comparing week to week how it changes. They’re not beautiful/posed, just simple gut-shots, but I like seeing that in week 7 there was nothing vs week 14 there was pudge vs week 19 is so very definitely pregnant. It’s cool to have this history, and to have it cuz I’m finally pregnant is a total bonus.
What do I not love about being pregant! I have been one of the lucky ones and have felt wonderful my entire pregancy – I have enjoyed the excitement of knowing we had a little one on the way – and the entire “growing in my belly” process. It has been an overall exciting time with family and friends, and we await the moment of arrival – any day now!
