May Contest: sweet earth photographics

Our May contest is from sweet earth photographics and it’s a biggie. You could win a full photo session – that’s two hours of shooting and a CD including 15 hi-res images, a small album and an 8×10 print valued at $250.
sweet earth photographics is known for their signature photojournalistic style, open-minded, natural approach and detailed imagery. Their mini session – one hour of shooting plus a CD with 10 hi-res images and mini album – makes a lovely Mother’s Day gift, and if you reserve a mini session in May for a future date you’ll get a special $150 rate. Actually that’d be a gift certificate just about anyone in the family would love to get. sweet earth photographics knows you get the best photos of your kids when they’re comfortable and relaxed, which is why they prefer their sessions to happen in your home or garden or somewhere else of significance to you rather than a studio. Get a feel for their fabulous photos in their families and kids galleries.
So how can you win? It’s easy, just use the comment functionality for this contest on yoyobelly to let us know why you’d like your photos taken by sweet earth photographics. And if you’re feeling extra creative, you can get your name in the hat again by posting a mother themed haiku. Plus everyone who uses the forward functionality at the bottom of each day’s email spread the word about yoyobelly will also be entered.
It’s easy to add your wish lists to our contests, but you do need to do it on yoyobelly.ca not in our weekly emails. Just add your comment at the bottom of the contest after the “share and enjoy” buttons. I have two young children – ages 1 and 3. My biggest regret is that we have taken zero professional photos of either kid. Each photo we have has been taken by either myself, my husband or a friend. I would like to have some professional photos taken of the kids to remember these years.
I like the style employed by Sweet Earth. Photographing the children in their natural settings appeals to me. Shona – does shooting photos on a boat appeal to you?! We live on a sail boat and I would love to have someone capture what this means to us as a family. It is a wonderful place for the children to grow up in and I want to capture the essence of the boat, the marina, the coop and the kids.
I also have two children ages 1 and 3 – and I have also not had any professional photos taken of them. It would be great to have some family photos take of us to look back on!
Although I had photos of my daughter as a newborn, we have had none done since. She’s now 1 year, and I’d love some family photos, maybe even with her grandparents.
We have yet to get a family picture done and professional pictures of my 2 girls. I would love to have a nice photo taken now that they are 2 and 3 1/2. It’s a nice stage in our lives.

I am pregnant with number three and vow to be the mama that has pictures of ALL of her children!
I want professional pictures done because I think I have the cutest new baby boy and I want to show him off properly. My photos just aren’t doing him justice!
I’m now pregnant with #2. I regret not having had professional maternity portraits done while pregnant with my son, and would love to have some done this time which would also include him.
as the photographer in my household, i have discovered a notable trend in our documentation – my absence! although i haven’t minded being out of the picture, now that i am having my first baby in july i’d really like to be included : )
I feel it is so important to capture all of life’s memories with photographs. That cute skirt she wore, or that dress she wouldn’t take off for weeks are the most precious memories.

After many years of trying to get pregnant we finally did it. Daily we still think “I can’t believe this is happening to us.” The whole experience has been all we had ever dreamed of. I would love to capture the moment with some pregnancy photos so I can forever remember the true beauty of it all.

I own one stunning picture of my mother and I; it was taken when I was the age my daughter is now (1.5 years). There is so much love in that image and it means the world to me. I would love for my little girl to have that as well.
I’m pregnant with #1. When he/she is born, I’ll definitely want to capture our little family. I know that Sweet Earth would do a fantastic job!

As an expectant first time mom, I’m worried that with all the business of having a newborn, we won’t be able to stop and capture all the precious moments. Having someone take photographs of the three of us would be a wonderful memory for looking back at when our baby arrived!
