Well, this weekend is hopping (sorry, we couldn’t resist the pun) with Easter fun but we’ve also ferreted out a few long weekend festivities with nary a bunny in sight.

Sunset Community Centre Run, Jump, & Throw with the Easter Bunny
Thursday, April 9th, 10 am – 11:30 am, Sunset Community Centre, 6810 Main Street, Vancouver
Kids up to five can do some serious hopping while playing their favourite sports with the Easter bunny. Plus the Playgym will be in full swing too: www.mysunset.net

Whole Foods  Kids Club After School Special: Easter Egg Hunt
Thursday, April 9th, 3pm – 5 pm, Whole Foods,  925 Main St, West Vancouver
Kids club members can pick up their passport at the guest service desk and then search the aisles of Whole Foods for paper Easter eggs. Find all nine and get a prize: www.wholefoodsmarket.com

Easter Egg Hunt at Stanley Park

Reputedly the “Biggest Egg Hunt in Town!” There are new baby lambs and alpacas and rides on the Stanley Park Train: vancouver.ca

Killarney Community Centre Easter Egg Hunt

Maritime Museum’s A Maritime Easter
