In honour of Earth Day which is coming up on the 22nd, this weekend is seriously green. You can plant a tree, go fishing, recycle, compost and lots, lots more. And remember, it’s the Sun Run on Sunday, so you’ll want to plan any driving accordingly.

Earth Day Vancouver 2009

No garden? No worries! Dig in at this family-friendly event -Evergreen’s 9th Annual Earth Day – helping plant 4,000 trees in the park. To keep your planting energy high there’ll be live music, a day-long drum circle, hands-on activities, First Nations storytelling, fantastic food and more.
