Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival

Think First
Saturday March 21st & Sunday, March 22nd, various times, Science World, 1455 Quebec Street, Vancouver
It’s Brain Awareness month and reps from Think First will be at Science World teaching your tots how to protect their noggins. They’ll learn how to play safe and bike safe, as well as getting some info on what happens if they don’t. Mindful Eating for Babies
Saturday, March 21st, 10 am – Noon, Capers Robson, 1675 Robson Street, Vancouver
Start at the Bidwell Room at the West End Community Centre and then head on over to Robson Capers Whole Food Market to learn about which foods to introduce to babies and how to make sure you’re raising a good eater. You’ll get practical, progressive, holistic food, nutrition and parenting info from Victoria Pawlowski, a nutritionist and family counsellor. It’s free but preregistration is required. Mad Hatter Tea Party

Spirit Fish Project
Sunday, March 22nd, 10 am – 3 pm, Renfrew Park Community Centre 2929 East 22nd Ave, Vancouver
In honour of World Water Day this all ages events is all about the water circulatory system of the land. Spirit Fish boat lanterns illuminating prayers for the water will float down local streams. And there’ll be live music and other treats. A companion Spirit Fish Project will also be happening in Burnaby and includes a dinner and lantern celebration: vancouver.ca/parks/cc/renfrew
Kids’ Stuff Swap Meet
