we luv u

We love our readers, which is why we’ve done something special for you this Valentine’s Day. On February 14th you’ll need to come up with cards for all the kids in your child’s preschool, daycare or kindergarten, as well as everyone else they love. Crafty mamas may already be in full card production mode, but if you’re more likely to hit the drugstore to choose from a sad selection of cards bedecked with kids’ TV show characters do we have a Dora and Diego-free solution for you.
We’ve teamed up with one of our favourite artists, Liz Clay from Cici Art Factory, to bring you six original valentine’s cards she created just for you.
And whether the sentiments your little valentine want to express run to “You are my T140 Dx super max quadruple turbo rocket ship”, “You are the biggest bubble in my bath” or “You are the icing on my cupcake” there’s a card that’s right for them. All you have to do is click here, print ‘em off, cut ‘em out and fill in the blanks, unless your tot is already writing, in which case definitely put them to work!
To see more of Liz Clay’s work go to www.ciciartfactory.com. Right now you can get free worldwide shipping on any purchases from her site. Want to see her work in person? Check it out at Pebble Baby in Kits.

I just IM’d the link over to my husband and he’s printing them off as we speak. My daughter wanted Mickey Mouse cards (sigh) but I am going to give them out to my friends!

these are just too stinking cute! And if it’s any comfort to those with young ones who want characters … it does pass! My older kids (9 and 10) don’t want anything to do with those character valentines.
Thanks yoyomama and ciciart factoty!!
Love the design, love the style. Couldn’t get them to print big enough for my 5 year old to print on they came out about 1″ by 2″. She is still learning to print and 1.5 cm was too small for the names – she just got frustrated. Is there something I missed in the printing instructions?
They look fantastic – really unique.

Hey Lisa – I can send you a PDF version if it’s not too late. Most ppl had no problems with them but a few did. We used them for our five-year-old.
