This contest is now closed.
For March we’ll be giving away two one-hour massage worth $50 each from Adar Birth Services in Vancouver. Because if there’s anything we believe a pregnant mum needs, it’s a little bit of pampering:
Adar Birth Services believes that, as with any journey, a little bit of prep goes a long way, especially when you’re preparing for labour, birth and parenthood. So they offer accurate, evidence-based info on childbirth through Birthing From Within – Childbirth Preparation Classes that meet your individual needs. Through discussion and creative activities you’ll receive non-biased info on the different stages of labour; pain coping practices; postpartum and baby care; the transition to parenthood and more. And when you’re all finished you’ll feel better prepared to meet the challenges of labour, birth and postpartum care. Now that’s a gift to yourself that’ll keep on giving.
So how can you win? Simply visit adarbirthservices.com and then come back to this page on yoyobelly and use the comment functionality to let us know what services they offer that are right up your alley. Thanks for the heads up on this great company. I had major back issues in my last pregnancy and needed to see a massage therapist, it would be nice to start early and hopefully completely bypass the pain by regular massage sessions, especially by someone so in tune with pregnant women.
It is always nice to know of professional doulas as well, because there are so many out there with only a little experience…Thanks again yoyo!
[...] you checked out this month’s contest yet? You could win some prenatal pampering. [...]
Ouch – my back has been aching for the past few weeks – A massage would be lovely. I guess I should also be starting to think about childbirth prep. classes. What a good marketing idea! Thanks yoyobelly.
I also would be most interested in massage services. If this was my first baby, I would also have been interested in their prenatal classes.
I NEED A MASSAGE!!!
Adar Birth Services sounds fab! I would definitely book in for a massage, and I’m really interested in Birthing from Within classes as well. I already have a doula, but Aimee’s services all look great.
Info on local, reasonably priced massage is always appreciated and from a birthing service is even better. There seem to be so many good resources at Adars if I wasn’t already signed up for prenatal classes I would take them there for sure.
I’m expecting our fifth child and I liked the Adar website content a lot (I think it is very useful – exactly what I would have loved to have found all in one place when expecting babe #1). I think Aimee has put a lot of thought into the organization of her website; she presents a lot of information in a way that is logical and easy to navigate. Cheers!
The massage services would be heavenly!
A massage would be fantastic. I am also interested in some counseling on breastfeeding as this is my first pregnancy and we are having twins – any advice/tips would be helpful!
I think the breastfeeding oounselling could come in really handy since a huge percentage of women who would like to breastfeed, end up having to formula feed because they don’t have the support and help they need to learn different techniques and tricks that can improve their odds of success. I don’t condone breastfeeding over bottlefeeding, since I think it is an individual and personal decision, but if a woman would like to breastfeed I hope she can get all the help she needs to do it comfortable and easily.
Massages are ALWAYS good too and are extra awesome during pregnancy!
The deal on the pre-natal massage is amazing. My husband would love to join me as well. I’m definatly looking into this. I could use a little pampering!
Jen Wiens 30 weeks pregnant.
So we’re expecting our second bundle of joy and the first time around I put off getting a massage and ended up never getting one. I had a few friends pregnant at the same time and they all shared their experiences with the pregnancy massage and how much they liked it! I am determined that this time around I will definitely get one! I would love to have that experience!
Of course the pre-natal massage would be right up my alley. However the doula services at Adar look very interesting as well. Anyways, I would love a massage.
I would love to attend the baby signs workshop ora breastfeeding counseling session!!
