dish it in

A romantic Valentine’s Day becomes a bit trickier to arrange once you’ve got kids. Add in the cost of a babysitter to your fancy meal – if you can get a reservation that is – and it can strain your budget just a little. So why not dine in next weekend with Indishpensable’s yummy Valentine’s Menu? You can choose from two different yummy gourmet dinners that follow Ocean Wise and Green Table guidelines. They do all the prep and you just take it home, whip it up in half an hour or so and look like a star.
You can choose from pan seared baja scallops paired with fillet mignon or pear and brie salad with lobster thermidor, both meals are finished off with mocha panna cotta served in wine glasses. If those choices don’t appeal you can also pair either of the appies and the panna cotta with any of their regular entrees. And if three courses is too much for you to take – what with being used to kiddie dinners at 5:30 pm – then you could always just order one of their regular entrees, we like the sound of Duck Leg Confit a l’Orange ourselves. Your meal comes with its own wine recommendations too, cutting down on the guesswork.
With entrees ranging from $23 on up, and the Valentine’s dinners coming in $72 to $89, it’s not cheap, but a lot less than you’d spend on a three-course meal for two if you were dining out rather than in. Plus you can dress down, not up, by which we mean slipping into something more comfortable. No, not sweatpants.
If the idea of dining in once the kids are abed appeals, be sure to order by February 11th. Or better yet, forward this along to your significant other with a strongly worded hint that the best way to win your heart is by cooking for you next Saturday…
Now if only the meal came with a bus boy and a dishwasher you’d be totally set.

Wow I was just looking at their menu and now I’m so hungry! What a great gift for new parents, too – so they can get spoiled with a delicious meal. Great alternative to bringing another casserole over, particularly if you are too busy to make one!
seriously – if you havne’t tried Indish yet … TRY it. The food is awesome. Seriously.
