cozy toesies
The long cold snap has abated, but winter’s still got us in its grip, so we’re always on the lookout for products to keep us extra cozy. Which is why all the feet in our family are snug in socks from Polar Feet.
Made in Canada of fleece which wicks moisture away from your skin, dries quickly and doesn’t fade, shrink, mat or pill, Polar Feet’s socks are definitely comfy. You can wear them indoors as slippers – they come in regular and non skid options – and outdoors because the flatlock seams and lightweight fleece means they don’t rub or chafe and they fit into most kinds of footwear. And they come in sizes to fit everyone in your family from the tiniest tot to a manly size 13.
All those excellent utilitarian reasons aside, we love Polar Feet socks because they’re funky and fun. They come in a range of prints and patterns that add a glimpse of whimsy to most outfits from a red and black lumberjack print to groovy pucci-esque swirls, and jumping jellybean stripes.
And if you want to be matchy matchy from head to toe Polar Feet also makes fleece scarves, neckies, hats, baby blankets, and booties that they vow will stay on your baby’s feet, though we can’t comment on that as we haven’t yet put them to the test.
You shop their site online or check out their store locator for locations around town that are sock ready.
And sure you can wear them with just about any footwear, but no matter how comfy they are we wouldn’t recommend you go the fleece socks and sandals route.
