so cheeky

These days you pretty much need a full set of rain gear and snow gear by the front door for each person in your family. It’s cold, it’s wet, it’s snowing, it’s raining, and we need to be prepared for whatever the weather can throw at us.

Mamas tend to prioritize getting their tots kitted out before themselves, but ever since we wrote about the ultimate mum raincoat we’ve suspected that you have a not-so-secret yen for cool raingear for yourselves. So if you’re the type of person who doesn’t leave their umbrella behind wherever they go, then investing in a Cheeky Umbrella might be right for you. After all, is an umbrella not an essential Vancouver accessory?

Why get Cheeky? Their umbrellas are up to anything Vancouver weather may offer with sturdy construction including a strong, lightweight frame; wind-resistant ribs; an easy-to-hold, slip-resistant handle; they open and close easily; and they offer lots of coverage. All that important stuff aside, they’re also…well, cheeky.

Cheeky Umbrellas offer three different styles in basic black sporting a funky pattern that gives a little hint at the cheekiness lurking within. Lined in a contrasting colour, each umbrella also sports a little saying repeated around the bottom edge of four panels proclaiming “It’s raining, it’s pouring, other umbrellas are boring”, “I prefer umbrellas in my cocktails” or “When does it start raining men?” So when you’re slogging through the slush and rain on the school run, each time you get a little glimpse of your umbrella’s inside joke you’ll smile – on the inside at least.

And if, by chance, the wind does blow your umbrella inside out, others will be impressed by your cheek.
