Why do so many mums start online businesses? No, this isn’t a trick question. It’s because the overheads are low. But somehow we suspect that’s not the case with Raspberry Kids, the newest entry into our online shopping oeuvre. Like us, local mama of two, Sue Sinclair found online shopping in her PJs beat hitting the mall with kids in tow. So after a tumultuous few years she made the only slightly scary choice to abandon the corporate world to create Raspberry Kids.

A quick browse through this sleek online kids’ boutique shows that Sinclair has been nothing if not thorough in her scouring of the globe for fresh, healthy and fun products for your little ones.
Not only does she stock all your favourite must-have brands like Boon, anamalz, and Green Toys but she also carries lots of products exclusive to Raspberry Kids. Our wish list includes a play tent from Lucy and Michael, Bamboo Collection Creative’s E-racers, some of the nicest wall art we’ve seen thanks to Little Chipipi. Luckily we’re not in the market for baby furniture or we’d want to scoop up a Hushamok Baby Hammock,  just by looking at it you can tell your baby would sleep better in this cool creation beloved of the Jolie Pitt brood.

Raspberry Kids is also super easy to navigate. You can search by categories, price, colour, manufacturer and criteria such as Made in Canada, Made in the USA, Organic, Fair Trade, Award Winning and more. We also tested their checkout process and appreciated that we could pre-calculate the shipping before placing our order so there were no nasty last-minute surprises. We just wish we were this organized.

The worst thing we can say about Raspberry Kids is that it’s going to make sticking to a holiday budget seriously difficult.
