So many craft fairs, so little time! You asked for it so here it is, our annual craft fair round up. We update this article regularly with new fairs so you may want bookmark this page, plus we’ll update you whenever we add updates as well. We have to admit we haven’t stuck strictly to craft fairs either, but all these listings are in the craft fair vein.

For some of these events we have lots of info, others not so much, so we’ve included as much detail as we can find. Just a note, unlike our regular weekend guide, this list is strictly chronological.

Shiny Fuzzy Muddy 9th Annual Show & Sale

One of a Kind Christmas Show and Sale
November 20th – 22nd, 10 am – 9pm & November 23rd 10 am – 6 pm, BC Place Stadium, 777 Pacific Blvd, Vancouver
Find one of a kind fashion, flowers, eco-friendly products, food and more including some of our favourite kids vendors like Natural Pod,  Dress Me Up Organic and All Things Jill. And that doesn’t even include the grown up goodies! Oh and they have both a diaper changing area and nursing room plus a daycare centre where kids from two to eight are cared for by Mobile Child Care Services while you shop. Emily Carr Student Art Sale

Christmas Craft Fair

Maternal Creations Art Show & Craft Fair
November 21st, 4 – 8 pm & November 22nd, Noon – 5 pm, 2647 East Hastings Street (between Penticton & Slocan), Vancouver
Every year Pomegranate Community Midwifery Clinic transforms into a magical marketplace of mum-created dolls, booties, knitted bonnets, crowns, capes, jewels and more. It’s a great chance to both shop locally and support other mothers: www.pomegranate-midwives.com

Eastside Culture Crawl
November 21st, 5 pm – 10 pm & November 22nd & 23rd, 11 am – 6 pm, various locations
This annual free event is a festival of visual arts involving artists on Vancouver’s east side. You’ll need to visit their site to find participating artists and locations and you’re bound to find something that appeals to almost every aesthetic: www.eastsideculturecrawl.com

Not Your Mother’s Craft Fair
November 21st, 7:30 pm- 9:30 pm & November 22nd, 9 am – 4 pm, Grandview Church, 1803 East 1st Avenue
This fair only features items that are home-made, hand-made or home-grown and you’ll find home-baked goodies, pottery, soap, jewelry, textiles and more.

Urban Academy Christmas Magic at the  Manor Craft Sale
November 22nd & 23rd, 10 am – 5 pm, 101 Third Street, Urban Academy School (formerly Robson Manor), New Westminster

Harry Jerome Christmas Craft Fair

Dunbar Community Centre Craft Fair
November 22nd, 10 am – 5 pm, 4747 Dunbar Street
Childminding will also be available at this annual craft fair that’s got great exhibitors and lots of holiday gift ideas: dunbarcentre.ca

South Meridian Elementary School Craft Fair
November 22nd, 10 am – 3 pm, South Meridian Elementary School16244 13th Avenue, Surrey
Find crafts, a bake sale, basket raffle, cake walk, silent auction and games at this free fair that’s just minutes from the White Rock Beach, if the weather’s nice enough for a walk as well.

Waldorf School Christmas Fair
November 22nd, 10 am – 3 pm, Vancouver Waldorf School, 2725 St Christophers Road, North Vancouver
This Christmas Fair combines activities and events for kids, musical and theatrical performances, yummy treats and a marketplace overflowing with quality, handcrafted toys and gifts for kids and adults: www.vws.ca

Kensington Craft Fair

Fab Fair 5th Annual Winter Sale
November 22nd & 23rd, 11 am – 5 pm, Heritage Hall, 3102 Main St at 15th Avenue, Vancouver

White Spot Youth Pipe Band’s 4th Annual Celtic Christmas Crafts Faire

Vancouver Etsy Sellers Craft Fair

Christmas at Hycroft

West Coast Christmas Show & Marketplace

November 28th, Noon – 8 pm, November 29th 10 am – 8 pm & November 30th, 10 am – 5 pm, Fraser Valley Trade & Exhibition Centre, 1190 Cornell Street, Abbotsford

Abbotsford Arts Council Christmas Craft Fair
November 28th, Noon – 9 pm, November 29th, 10 am – 4 pm & November 30th, 10 am – 4 pm, Ag-Rec Building, 32470 Haida Drive, Abbotsford
This is the 28th annual craft fair with over 100 booths of unique, hand-crafted items, plus an onsite food court. Admission is free but they’re hoping you’ll bring donations for the food bank: www.abbotsfordartscouncil.org

Bizarre Bazaar
November 28th, 3 pm – 8 pm & November  29th, 10 am – 6 pm,  Telus Whistler Conference Centre, 4010 Whistler Way
You’ll find more than 100 artisans from the Sea to Sky Corridor, the Lower Mainland and beyond at Whistler’s original artisan market. Stock up on ceramics, clothing, fine art, wood, glass, metal, jewelry, candles, decorations and lots more: www.whistlerartscouncil.com

25th Annual Britannia Christmas Craft Fair
November 28th, 3 pm – 8 pm, November 29th & 30th, 10 am – 5 pm, Britannia Secondary School, 1001 Cotton Drive, Gym A&B

Aberthau Holiday Craft Fair
November 29th, 9:30 am – 2 pm, 4397 West 2nd Avenue
This sale is worth it just to check out the bedecked mansion, plus all the handmade crafts from the vendors of course: www.westpointgrey.org

Parkgate Christmas Craft Fair
November 29th, 10 am- 4 pm, Parkgate Community Centre, 3625 Banff Court, North Vancouver
check out lots of great hand-crafted items while taking advantage of free childminding at this annual fair. Call 604.983.6350 for details.

Steveston Christmas Craft Fair
November 29th, 10 am – 4 pm, Steveston Community Centre, 4111 Moncton St, Richmond
Richmond’s biggest craft fair has over 150 tables and vendors. Plus the community centre has a fabulous outdoor playground so if the weather’s not inclement one parent could stay outside and play with the kids while the other one does some serious shopping. Just a thought: www.richmond.ca

West End Community Centre Holiday Craft Fair
November 29th & 30th, 10 am – 4 pm, 870 Denman Street
Find lots of items for stocking stuffers and gifts with more than 70 tables of crafts, free admission and different vendors each day: vancouver.ca/parks/cc/westend

St. Thomas More Collegiate 18th annual Christmas Craft Fair
November 29th – 30th, 10 am – 4 pm, 7450 Kingsway, Burnaby (12th Ave & Kingsway)
With over 130 crafters, free admission and free childminding, a bistro, raffle, bake sale, plant sale and book sale you may well be able to do all your holiday shopping in one fell swoop.

West Coast Christmas Crafts and Pet Fair
November 29th & 30th, 10 am – 5 pm, Cloverdale Agriplex, 176th Street and 64th Avenue, Surrey
Here’s one with a different theme, this is your must-hit spot for pet-themed and Christmas themed crafts, plus they’ll have agility demos, herding demos and pets (on leashes) are welcome. You can also have your pet’s picture taken with Santa. Admission by donation: www.brookswoodshepherds.com

I Heart Crafts Bazaar
November 30th, 11 am – 6 pm, 805 East Pender Street, Vancouver

Toque Holiday Sale
December 5th, 6 pm – 9 pm & December 6th, 11 am – 5 pm, Western Front Society, 303 East 8th Avenue
There’ll be over 25 very funky vendors at this much-anticipated annual sale including doodlepuffy, Simply Read Books and Track and Field Designs: front.bc.ca

Christmas Market
December 6th, 10 am – 3 pm, Le Centre Culturel Francophone, 1551 West 7th Avenue, Vancouver
Discover quality creations from BC artisans including photography, jewellery, specialty foods, paper, doves, ceramics and much, much more. Plus Santa will be there from 11 am to Noon for the tots and there’s also a dinner at 7 pm that evening as well: www.lecentreculturel.com

Arts and Crafts Christmas Fair
December 6th, 10 am – 4 pm, Regent College, 5800 University Boulevard, Vancouver
You’ll find pottery, fine woodwork, jewellery, knitted good, fair-trade products and heaps more at this event hosted by and benefiting the Grace Family Network Foundation, which helps marginalized youth reach and go beyond their potential: gfnf.org

Heritage Hall Christmas Craft Fair
December 6th & 7th, 11 am – 5 pm, 3102 Main St at 15th Avenue, Vancouver

Local Farmers Market Holiday Market

Portobello West Christmas Market

    There was a typo on our website and the Farmers Market’s Holiday Market time was incorrectly quoted as a 9am start. It is actually a 10am start both days (Dec 13 & 14). Come early for a delicious crepe from La Boheme Creperie though so you’ll be ready for some serious shopping inside the hall. The first 50 shoppers on Sunday get a free market shopping bag.
