So does the weekend guide not look suspiciously sparse today? Well have no fear, it’s because most of the events happening around town this weekend are Halloween related and we’ve listed them all in our Haunted Happenings, so once you’ve perused this, you’ll definitely want to check there if you’re in the mood for spooky fun:
North Shore Mothers of Multiples Kids’ Stuff Fall Swap Sale
October 25th, 9:30 am – Noon, St. David’s United Church, West Vancouver (top of Taylor Way @ Hwy 1)
Stock up on gently used toys, clothing and gear for babies and kidlets. Partial proceeds will go to a local charity: www.northshoremoms.ca
Baby Welcoming Event

Get Animated! Children’s Program & Reel 2 Real Animation Workshop for Kids!
October 26th, 1 pm & 2:30 pm, Carousel Theatre, 1411 Cartwright Street
The National Film Board is celebrating World Animation Day on October 28th with a cross country tour, and just for kids they’ve got some cool screening including Sleeping Betty, a twist on Sleeping Beauty and a short about a banjo-picking monster (pictured). The Animation workshop that follows is appropriate for all ages: nfb.ca
